800-242-6806

It says "debt protection plan" when I call this number back. Did some digging and found this:

"Credit Protection Plus ("the Plan") is an optional product available on Your Bank of America credit card account. "....

"The Plan Administrator is CSI Processing, LLC at Credit Protection Plus, P.O. Box 34888, Omaha, NE 68134-0888; (800) 242-6806 Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. Central Time."

I called BOA and they said they no nothing about this CSI Processing?....

Getting calls from this number.  When answered I get a hang up and then a busy signal.

The culprit behind them calling is Bank of America. The game they are playing that is you have business (accounts or loans) then it is legal for them to call you. Of course they are not calling in reference to you account but instead trying to sell you identity theft protection. The interesting part of this is when I called and finally reach a human they insisted I give them my Name and SSN. Of course I did not...

Caller continues to bother me at work.  I don't not answer 800 numbers and the caller doesn't leave a message

It is funny, when they call I pick up and I hang up right away.  They call right back, and I do the same.  They wait a day or two and do it again.

Unsolicited sales call to a number on the no call list

8002426806 is the source of a daily nusiance call.

I get 3 to 4 unwanted calls a day from 800-242-6806.  I have told them over and over again to not call me again.  No success in this effort.

Constantly calling and also leaving hang ups on answering machine.
Posts here indicate it is connected somehow to Bank of American.

I called 800-242-6806 and went to the questions on your account menu.  I entered # until it told me I didn't have a valid ID.  I spoke to a Carlos, a plan rep, who said he'd remove my phone #.  We'll see if it happens.

Get daily calls from 800-242-6806.  When I call the 800 242-6806 to ask to be taken off the call list I get a run around that it will take 30 days and the State/Federal No Call List is not applicable.  I would suggest everyone who gets called by this company keep calling them back and tie up their "sales" representatives.

I get these calls too - several times a week now.  I have no business with BofA.  I never answer them and they never leave a message.  Hoping they just give up...

I get at least 2 calls from this number 800-242-6866 a day. As others have said they are from Bank of America trying to sell a plan. I told them I have not had a credit card or done business with them in years at least 20 and have asked to have me taken off their list. I am on the no call list. But, they continue! What do you do? They use up my minutes on my cell everyday. Peace

I added this number to my saved phone numbers on my cell phone as "evil call" and custom ring tone is "mute".

Call from "Bank Of America" trying to sell "credit protection." We are mot a BofA customer. They said that didn't matter, they could sell "credit protection" on any card. We are on the state and federal do not call lists.

Calls, never leaves message. We do not do business with Bank of America and are on state and federal DNC lsits.

I also got an unwanted call from 800-242-6806 this morning.

Here's what I received from the FCC:

The Form 1088 first asks you to select the specific telemarketing activity that you are complaining about, and then directs you to a section of the form that asks specific questions relevant to that activity.

Bank of America (or its surrogate) regularly calls in an attempt to market debt protection insurance to customers with B of A credit cards. No attention is paid to whether on not the number called is listed on the national "do not call" registry.  It does no good to ask to be removed from the banks telemarketing target list.

They call and ask to speak to me. When my wife tells them that I'm not home, and who she is, they hang up on her. She has called the number to complain and gets no action. We have established that it is associated with B of A and I'm considering stopping doing business with them after nearly 40 years.

I hope someone from B of A reads these posts and realizes how offensive it is to deal with.
