- QBThis is National Enterprise Systems a.k.a. NES. They are a collection agency. They called me wanting payment on a old cell phone bill. All you have to do send a letter to these collection agency, basically saying to stop calling you and only contact you by mail at your home address, and make a copy for your records. THEY HAVE TO STOP CALLING YOU after you send this letter. And make sure you send the letter USPS certified mail and request a signature. Its the law that the cannot call you after you have sent them letter regarding these harrassing calls. If they still call you, save the message, take your copy of the letter, your certified signature card from them, and go see a lawyer.

- amyThey called me and threatened me that if I didn't pay a cell phone bill through Verizon Wireless they were going to take me to court. The bill was for over 900.00. They then talked to my husband cause I got upset and told him they would settle for little over 600.00. Then they decided on doing to payments of 473.01. My husband said they were BSing me and trying to scare me. I am talking to a lawyer now about this situation.

Bud Says…
This organization generates a lot of complaints like this typical email:
“I am writing you concerning a company called National Enterprise Systems, Inc. They ended up calling me up at work and harassing me, I specifically asked them not to contact me there. Not even two minutes later they called my workplace again and asked to speak to my manager. I contacted the local authorities as they stated when they called my residence that they were “Federal Agents" and "I was in big trouble with the law". I thought that they were not allowed to call your place of employment if you asked them not to.
Yesterday they contacted my place of employment once again. I am fed
up with being harassed.”
A quick check on Pacer shows 108 lawsuits naming National Enterprise System, Inc. dating to 2002. The majority of complaints we receive are for harassment, contacting family, friends, calling employers, the usual standard violation of slimy collection organizations such as NES.
According to records we found on a search engine, NES Head Debt Collector Ernest R. Pollak and wife Ellen reside in Salon, OH and are easily accessible to consumers wishing to voice their complaints on the apparent illegal treatment he is allowing his debt collectors to practice.
I suggest anyone who thinks they have been treated unjustly or in a disgusting manner violating the law to contact Ernie the debt collector at:

If that fails to resolve your issue, whether it be harassing calls to your employer, family, etc, or his collectors posing as ‘federal agents’ as described above, we suggest you do the following:
1) Record all calls from NES collectors.
2) Contact us for referral to a local consumer law professional.
3) Contact us for referral to law enforcement for possible charges.
4) If that does not work and the harassment continues, we may pass along the home address for Ernie and Ellen in the hopes they may want to discuss your situation from their home, in the evening.
http://www.budhibbs.com/debtcollectorpages/nes.htm - kevthey dropped a message in my voicemail stating there was a serious matter concerning (they gave the last 4 of my social) in illinois, i've never been in illinois in my life. i could possibly be in big trouble.

- deceivedleft several messages to return a call reqarding my social security number; is this tactic legal?
- CJI was told that Lorraine Mullins had a complaint that was filed against me and I needed to call them immediately. Earlier, the same day, I had three phone calls. They also have called me for months 10 + times a day.
- Caller: NES
- RM replies to LindaThey are avery rude collection agency. type the phone in google and you will see a couple of sites that people have left post on about their experience with them.. I am also dealing with them right now.
- AnnoyedThese people kept calling me at work. I would tell them "I'm at work and will call them back." Which then she wanted to know what time I got off and when to expect my call. Needless to say I didn't call her back and she continued to call me at work. Finally I had enough and told her "Look I'm at work and will not deal with this here, so you need to stop calling me here. Because when I get fired for being on the phone I won't have any money and you won't have any from me either. Which she then said "ok and that they would call my cell phone." They are rude, inconsiderate and bullies.
Now I have 2 of them calling me every other day. The man (Mr. Parrish) is nice and polite. The lady (Rebecca) that left me a message yesterday did not identify from where she was calling for or for whom. And stated that "This is an urgent matter and I need to hear back from you today before Lucas County reaches you with your papers. If not Good Luck to you and we tried." Which I don't understand why she's singing a whole different tune then Mr. Parish who has worked with me and made an arrangement. Anyways, when all is said and done by the end of this month these people will be paid and I will gladly not hear back from these people ever again.
It would also be a little helpful and considerate if these people left their names, where they are calling from and in what it's in regards to. I don't answer my phone to numbers I don't know. And I'm certainly not going to call you back when you leave a message threatning me without even stating where your calling from and for who.- Caller: National enterprise System

- moeimportant to return my phone call before 4pm to avoid taking further actions
- PRProStephanie from NES left VM at 1:19PM for a person named "Sherry Baker"; she said it was very important and that she needed to call her back at 1-800-243-0002 ext. 1098.
While my husband and I do indeed have the last name Baker, there is noone in our home (just two of us) or in our family by the name of Sherry. In addition, we transferred to this area and built our house a few years ago, so no one has EVER lived in this house but us!
Out of the kindness of my heart, I contacted Stephanie and asked her very politely to remove our telephone number from her records as no one by the name of Sherry Baker lived at this address/number, and it seemed as though her records were in error. She got VERY rude with me w/ some black I-get-paid-a-buck-an-hour attitude and proceeded to hang up on me. I called her back, gave her a few very choice words of my own and hung up on her.
At exactly 2:32PM, Stephanie called me back -- only this time, she hung up on our VM. I contacted the phone company and wouldn't you know it ... she called me again at 7:37PM this evening. Because we have annonymous call rejection on our phone line, the number is coming up under "Privacy Director." I am working thru BellSouth right now to get the calls Blocked altogether, though. I've contacted the FCC and will go further if need be.
Most people would have just let the call go knowing it had nothing to do with them. I was trying to be kind and let Stephanie know she had the wrong number. Sadly, it appears she lacks both an education and manners. Perfect job for her, I guess!- Caller: NES
