It's a shoret message, just a person leaves a name and this number with no further details.

someone asks for me by name and asks for the name of whoever answers the phone and when asked who they are they say thank you have a good night. they do not say where they are calling from and why they are looking for the owner of the home.

I have received about 4 calls now from this number just telling me to call them back.  All they say is Erika please call me back at the number- no name, no where they are calling from- is this some sort of scam?

Received a call from this number, 800 245 9770, they kept asking me who I was and I asked them who they were that they were calling me.  They told me that they were Allied blah blah but never referenced a credit reporting agency and then they informed me that even though I never received a bill that I was being reported to the credit bureaus.  Meanwhile I have a new account with Verizon which I have overpaid and Verizon reported me in 30 days instead of 60 days.  No letters, no notification.

Yup, same situation here.  I changed the name on my Verizon Wireless account from my wife's name to mine (so its technically a new account with them) and all of a sudden I get these calls from this debt collector saying I owe money on the old account.  Not so much as a single call/letter/email from Verizon to let me know.  Unbelievable!

Same here. No information.  Just called, used my first name (which I never use), left their number and hung up.  Isn't there a number we can report them to?  Especially if they are calling me at work. I don't discuss personal information on company time.

I have received several calls from this number, but haven't answered any of them.  Each time they've left a very quick, unclear message saying, "Hi this message is for (my name), please call our office at 1-800-245-9770."  I just called back and they asked what my phone number was, I told them, she said hang on, the phone sounded like I'd been put on hold, then I heard a long beep as if I'd dialed a fax number...
Unaware of any debt I have so a bit confused.

they called and when I said hello about 30 times no said anything back. I can hear people shuffling in the back ground then someone hangs up the phone. When I called the number back saying that I just received a call from this number. They asked me for my number and I gave it to them then the guy hangs up. Allied has so many numbers here are a few. Don't let these people harrass you. You have to answer the calls if you don't then I shows that you are avoiding them. When you speak with a rep after they tell you the phone call will be recording/monitored then ask that person if they're ok with you recording the conversation. Most likely they'll say no or hang up but answer their calls. Also check to see whether or not you're in a 1 party or 2 party law for recording state. Some states need you to get permission from the other party to record the conversation. Just to be on the safe side if you're not sure ask them anyway. After I asked a rep that they haven't been calling to speak with me. Just calling and playing a recording. The funny thing about that is you can hear when they click on the recording and then turn it off and hang up.

Even if you owe on a debt DON'T make any payment agreements with a debt collector because you have no contract with them to pay this. Making a payment agreement with them over the phone would be considered a verbal agreement. Let them know that you are going to pay the company that you have a debt with and not them. Be firm in telling them this. Also make payments to the company they will accept them. You only have a contract with the company you owe and not a third party collection agency.

I've received numerous calls from this number.. They never give up and I don't have any debts.

Received message from 1800245, not sure of the last four numbers, message was given very fast, but it was clear it was some sort of collection agency.   Have no debt that I am aware of, however have had trouble with fraud on credit card.  Some one else may have made the debt and now trying to make payments through a voided credit card and the company may be trying to collect when payments not made.   Not sure if this is the case, but will check credit report through bank to see if it is Allied.   If so will contact lawyer.  Plan to cancel credit card also.

I rcvd phone calls @ my home & cell phone from this #..when I call back I leave messages (no one ever answers) and noone returns my call. Their message to me states they are calling to collect on a debt, Yet I dont have any outstanding bills. By the way "Ryan's" voicemail doesnt  state what company he is representing
