They don't give up either. I've put them on hold and they just keep calling back. Nor will they leave a message in voice mail for anyone. They are calling to a place of business and it's very irritating!!!

A soft voice woman claimed to be from A1 Delivery said she had a refund check for an over payment from Chase in the amount of $34. and change said they were going to deliver it to my address which they had my po box STUPID me I corrected her and she said the gentleman would be at my home at 6pm tonight.  He will be greeted with a Sheriff!!

Called to say they were UPS that they were at the door and no one was home to deliver a package. When i asked who the package was from, She said it was from Macy's Dept store and if anyone would be there to accept the package on monday between 9-11? I asked her at what address, when she repeated an address that was a work address I no longer worked at, So I knew she was full of crap and it was a bogus call!!  She isn't that good at what she does, LOL!!

I found out who owns this number people and i'm furious now!!

I didn't realize that i received a call first from British Columbia about 5 mins prior to this call first and it was automated and asked me "if i was in debt to listen to the message, if it didn't pertain to me, to press #2, which is what i did"   I might make a call to this company and ream them a new one for their marketing strategy!!!

This woman calls and says she is from "UPS" with a package for "Felipe".  There is giggling in the background and when told that nobody lives here by that name she says "on Joliet Street"?  "Felipe Fernando Garcia Hernandez?".  She needs to get a life.

Just received a call from this number - claimed to be employment agency. Wanted address to mail copy of "paperwork" relted to the mix-up. Had last 4 of social, wanted me to "just answer yes or no". Almost gave them home address. Def. debt collector, inv. agency, somebody lying.

Just received another call from these people. They asked for ME this time and gave me the spill about having a package for me and that no one was there to sign for it. These people are a bunch of SCAM artist and need to find a new job so they can leave me the heck alone!!!!!!

Called my cell phone 17 times in the matter of 10 minutes, left no message.

Called stating there was a package but the address was smeared on it and they needed my address

So has anyone figured out what the scam is, or what they really want. I got a call today from them, and I am supposed to be receiving a pre-paid "gift" from JC Penny's. They are "delivering" it tomorrow.....

I don't understand. She called my husband asking for me at an old work numer (we used to work together)....He gave "corrected" her on my work and home address.I am worried that they have information and I don't know what else they have.

They called my workspace and claimed that she worked for UPS. She said it was a package from Old Navy and that i missed the package. Then they said they will reshipit

Called my parents home in Chicago, said they had my Boston address from four years ago and asked me to allow them to send me info. on a job.

Same thing for me! What did they ask?

Called me this morning and said she was UPS and was trying to deliver a package to an old address of mine.  Said the package was from the Sony Corporation.  Said that when I sign for it that I'd have to confirm my birthdate for security purposes which she rattled off to me.  This has to be a phishing scam of some sort. Either it's a scam artist or it's a debt collector, as they've been known to resort to low tactics like this. Gave them a fake address as I'd not ordered anything from Sony, and even if I had, UPS would have shown up on my caller ID.  Unfortunately, they also called my girlfriend and her idiot mother gave them their address.  My GF said that they also said they were from UPS but they had a package from some other company for her. I told my GF that if they arrived to not sign anything.  Wish I could tell you more, but if I find out more I'll post more info.  I'm certain that these people are up to no good.

Got a call from 1-800-251-0517 but I didn't take the call, then called again from 801-539-8351. Said from UPS trying to deliver a package from JC Penny. Asked for work place for security questions. Don't know why they called.

Today i received a call from 800-251-0517. The lady  told me I had missed a package from UPS.  She wanted to know If i was going to be home the next day so they could redeliver the package( which was a check from macys).  They tried to verify information, had my former job on file.  I called ups to find out if they infact had a package for me.  Needless to say Ups did not have a package for me.  Tried to call the number, to no avail.  Not sure of the  callers intent but i am surely displeased and will be reporting this incident to the proper autorities.

What state are you all from?   I would like to figure out if there is a pattern for the calling or is it in one centralized area.

They called my home xmas eve and told my son they were UPS and needed to contact me to sign for my package---he gave them my work number ahhhh!!!! He thought he was doing the right thing--I called UPS and there's NO PACKAGE  BIG SCAM!!!

I received 5 calls right in a row from this phone number, but assuming it was a debt collector I did not answer. 2 minutes later my next door neighbor was knocking on my door saying that UPS was on the phone for me and he has no idea why they were calling him.

The woman claimed to be from UPS and told me that they tried to deliver a package for me from Brylane Home this morning but I was not home. She said it was 7:45 AM that they tried and I said I was sleeping. (Tho in hindsight, my dog would have barked).

She said they needed to verify my address and birthday and she wanted to reschedule delivery. She told me I would need to verify my birthdate and she told it to me and I said yes. She said I would need to show my ID when the man came.

She then asked me to verify my place of employment, which I am currently disabled and have been for 5 years, so she asked where I last worked and I told her and she said it was not what she had on file for me. Then she told me a company name, which was my ex-husbands business 12 years ago, and I told her that.

Normally I am not this stupid... but she threw me off track by using Brylane Home, as I just placed an order with them 2 days ago. I had just woken up and was not clear headed...

I called my local sheriff, (after I realized it was weird) and he investigated and found out it is indeed a debt collector called "NorthLine Group"....

so if you see this number, it IS a debt collector and that is their name.

Received several calls from someone named "Rog" or "Rod" from this number claiming to be with United Job Placement.  They have apparently called my former employer asking about me and my current employer as well.  They said they had a job application for me for Harley-Davidson and that they needed to send me a package.  Does that sound like a scam or what????
