Delta Packaging Scam! Sends on packaging tape at no cost then slams you..Stay away and dont anser the phone

I had an employee receive a call from this company, and he believed they were our packing tape supplier. We received a box with 96 rolls of tape, and two $5 gift cards for Starbucks. There was no pricing on the invoice. We received the bill about 2 weeks later. They charged almost $5 per roll, and $40 for shipping (the total was less than one dollar under $500!). Definitely say, "no!" if you hear from this company, it's totally a scam!

I got a call from this company too. I had no idea I was doing an order. They never mentioned anything about a sale.

We too received a case (8 dozen rolls) of 2” clear packing tape at $4.75 a roll and $43.13 in freight charges. When talking with the manager at Delta Shipping Supplies she said that one of our employee's had order the tape. After some discussion of our purchasing policies and that we needed some form of confirmation of the transaction, i.e. a copy of the purchase order or a copy of the recorded phone conversation, in order to pay the invoice. Delta Shipping Supplies supplied us with an RMA for the tape and the two Starbucks gift cards.

Do not... I repeat DO NOT talk to these telemarketers. This is a scam. Ive worked for them and I quit when I realized how big of a scam this company was. We'd sit in a little room and dial dial dial for 5hrs. I think its really sad how the owner cant sell tape the proper way so he results to harrassing people over the phone.

$40 for shipping?!!We just got a call from them, and they lie in their little pitch and said they are going to pay the shipping on the box. SCAMMERS! Glad we didn't fall for this. Our plant mgr hung up on them when he found the price of $500 for a box.

Looking for job. just got laid off....guy told me about telemarketing for Delta selling packaging tape.   But after readung your post sounds pretty awfull and not a good way to make ends meet while looking for meaningful employment.  

I thought it strange that the guy would not give me the adress of where it is.  Asked that I reach him at 6:00 am and he will call me back with info re:where to go.  Starting at 7:00am till 1:00pm.  Why cant I have the address the day before and speak with the guy who is hiring directly?

I am not experienced with "crooked" or scam operations so after reading your post I guess those are the first clues.

Does anyone have the phone number to Delta? Cause they call 2 or 3 times a day and I'm sick of it. I want to call them and try to scam them into buying something they don't want, like they do to all of us.

Their rep called and asked for the shipping department.  When we started asking what the call was regarding they hung up.

Then we found their number on this site and called them back!  The operator would not transfer us to the rep, however, a couple of minutes later the rep called again we slammed, the phone on them!

I have been receiving calls from a rep named Brenda from this company for over two weeks! I tried just ignoring them, but that doesn't work. They kept faxing over invoices. Today I faxed their invoice back to them telling them to stop calling and faxing our company, that we know they are a scam and that I was reporting them. I'll see if that stops them.

They called our shipping department and asked to send us a catalog, we agreed. In the meantime someone notified us that this was a scam and instructed us the refuse the package we would recieved. We did refuse it, the same day I recieved an invoice for 8 dozen rolls of tape for $499.13. If anyone would like their phone number it is 800-253-5827. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

Received call from Delta Supplies.  Guy stated he just got back from having a heart attack and was a supplier to my company for grease, etc..  He wanted to send me a swiss army knife with his business cards to my home.  When I explained to him that I do not give out my home address nor do I accept gifts from suppliers he stuttered and hung up.

This company should be investigated. They have an F rating with the Better Business Bureau and I have talked to people in the State Attorney General's office and they are investigating them. They are a scam and need to be taken down.

I immediately faxed them notice that their product was not ordered by an authorized buyer and they wouldn't get paid. I also got them to send us a UPS return label so I could return it at no freight charge to us. This type of scam is common. You need to inform anyone who works in the office, maintenance and/or shipping departments. Definitely say, "no!" if you hear from this company, it's totally a scam!

What a scam operation, they keep calling us to send us the packing tape we never ordered.

Their fax number is 800-388-0686, so just fax them back to jam up their fax machine...and tell them what scammers they are...

I think these folks just don't have any sense. When a telemarketer calls me, I just say "not interested". That's the end of that! Why don't you people realize that it's up to you to take responsibility for your own behaviors. My employee ordered tape from this company. They called him with a sales promo. He accepted the promo. They also called the next day to verify the product was ordered by our company. We told them we needed to cancel the order because our employee was not authorized to place the order to begin with. They cancelled the order right then.

People need to advise their employees as to the proper procedure for ordering products for the company they work for. This company did nothing but attempt to sell us something over the phone, just like all the other telemarketing companies out there. There was nothing underhanded about it. I cancelled the order the next day, and nothing was shipped or billed to us.

Stop whining and pay more attention to your employees. That's what I say. I told my employee he is never to order anything without asking again. Problem solved.

They told us that they "PREPAY THE SHIPPING and that it comes out on a 30 day open billing". I think you misunderstood or something.

Your employee obviously ordered the product, and then was sorry for it. Why is that their fault??????

These guys are annoying and demanding to speak to somenone.
