Property Management Services ... re:  timeshares

I rec'd a letter from Property Management Services with this phone number on their letter head.  The letter states that I now "qualify to permanently eliminate all future timeshare maintenance fees".  I do not own a time share.  They asked that I call them.  I will not.

I received a mailing from "Association Management Department" containing the same information as those who received calls from the number 800-255-7948. I noticed that it was postmarked as mailed from 37916. Also, the address in the letter, 1425 K Street NW Suite 350 Washington, D.C., 20005, is the office of a couple of lobbyists. http://dcstrategies.us

I received a letter as well. Address is 115 E 57th St 11th Floor; New York City, NY 10022 saying that I am identified as a timeshare owner who is eligible for ownership cancellation.  From there, I must call to activate my eligibility. The process allows me to absolve myself yourself from your timeshare. If you call before the eligibility expiration date, you may be able to achieve a full and final cancellation of your timeshare.
Who on god's green earth sends someone a letter stating they are eligible for ownership cancellation and then wants you to call to activate your ownership cancellation.

I received the same letter identifying me as eligible for ownership cancellation.  How does one become 'eligible ' for ownership cancellation? The letter is from Property Management Communications, 115 E 57th St  11th floor New York city. I didn't call, but if you did can you describe what that conversation was like...what a joke .
