Kaaren13 Apr 2007- Today (9/20/08) I received a call from this same number (800-260-9125) and when I answered no one was there. I called back and there was a recording for a CG (TCG?)Hotline and to leave a message. I left a message with my phone number to place me on the "do not call" list. I thought it was very strange. Since this just happened, I have not received any feedback or further calls from this number. It is interesting, however, that here it is, a year or so later and the same thing is happening. What gives? After Googleing "CG Hotline", on other sites, it says CG is the Coast Guard hotline, others say Army training in "Fort Irwin"..... huh?
- same non-voice on ours, ony it is repeatedly over the past week; we are on do not call list- HOWEVER- first time I called the number it directed me to 800-220-1500 which was some Freedom financial "mortgage services dept."- Now it says CG hotline (clearly no relation to any Commanding General)- I suspect that this is some market outfit ustilized by many different cold call outfits trying to get around the do not call list- probably of same caliber as Nigerian scam artists
- Got a call from this number 10/15 at 7:30pm, also received a call from this on 9/22 at 7:37pm. First time I answered it on 9/22, and it was some woman wanting me to take a survey about political candidates. I said no thanks and hung up. Probably some type of scam of some sort. Just don't answer, nor call it back. Who knows what they could be doing with the open line? Perhaps we all need to file a complaint w/the FTC?
- Ugh! I am so aggregated with this phone call. I have been getting them for two weeks now starting a 6:30 and stopping around 10:00 pm. So I called 352-371-5888 and spoke with some a**hole and he knew that I had recently gotten married and said he was calling me about my bridal gown. When he said that I was furious because I bought my gown my a small privately owned shop So then I called 202-667-3002 and asked to speak to a supervisor about harassing phone calls and the lady said it was the answering service so i asked what the normal business hours were and she said between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm and I said ok well it is 10:00 am now so if i call back in an hour should I be able to reach someone and she said yes. Of course it is still the answering service. I am so pissed, I want this to stop.

- I got a call twice. the first time they wanted to speak to me about a political survey, the second time the claimed to be planned parenthood wanting to know if I got the absentee ballot that they sent me. Or if I wanted them to email it to me. They thought I'd be stupid enough to give them either my address or email.

- I answered and they were calling from Als Formal Wear; which we registered w/ a bridal party and I remember providing the date etc along w/ our phone number, so I'm guessing it was regarding that. So, if there isn't a Al's near you, I'm guessing they are contracted out by various bridal/formal wear places to do the calling. this call was actually for my daughter so the lady didn't bug me w/ any spill or anything.
