A woman named 'Maggie' called from ^ that ^ number today saying she was from West Star Advertising and jabbered away that I won a free trip for 2 to Las Vegas, Cancun, or Montego Bay, Jamaica for 3 nights all expenses paid and I think hotel stay too. I don't have to pay anything.

Bu***hit. West Star Advertising I will find you and destroy you... as Adam Sandler would say from 'You don't mess with the Zohan'.

They say the way I supposedly registered for the contest was thru a event last year. She never said my name either which would be apart of any contest registration. Too bad I can't forward the voicemail here for all to hear and get a laugh out it.

Futhermore, she said to call 1-800-268-3113 [I might *67 it one of these days] to collect my prize and she read the number slow and stumbly like it was the 1st time she ever said that number.

The exact same thing happened to me. "Maggie" left me a voicemail saying that either me or a family member filled something out at an event last year. She said that I had won 2 round trip tickets to Las Vegas, Orlando, Cancun, or Montego Bay, Jamaica for 2 or 3 nights and that I didn't have to pay a thing at all. She said that a hotel for me and one other person was also included.

The lady said that I only 24 hours to claim my "prize" and that I had to call the number 1 800-268-3113. I tried to look up west star Advertising on the internet but no real website came up. Like she did to Prez she stumbled on the number.

Was left a voice message on my cell. Saying I won two free tickets to anywhere in the country. The first part was cut off because the message started when the voice mail options were being said. Something about a mistake being made and such I was awarded these tickets.

There was VERY deliberate inflictions on key words and syllables. Very scripted. So I checked the 1-800 number out and it brought me here sure enough. Being so I did not pursue this. I suggest that you also do not validate your number by responding to anything giving away free tickets out of the blue.

One important piece of information that I got was the incoming number.

Bingo! After I read your message, I checked my cell phone. The number that called me was (240) 699-8951. Maggie's been a busy girl! ;-)
I'm pretty ticked that they had my cell phone number! Don't know how that happened.

I got the same call. I "won" tickets from an event. So, look up the number that actually called you. Its a collection agency. All these collection agencies keep calling me. I have really good credit. I think I need to change my number, somehow they think I am someone else.

I just got that same call today.  In the voicemail that I got I could not understand what the company was, etc.  I called the number back just to see what company would answer and after saying once again that I had won 2 round-trip US airline tickets it then said "Press 1 for South Carolina" and it didn't list any other states... This is really weird

Haha, to claim the prize all I need to do is have a household income of $40,000 and give them a copy of my drivers lisence and a major credit card.  Right ... sounds like accurate criteria to claim a prize.

Same "error" and "free trip" garbage. Probably from CCNA collection agency. "Maggie" has called me twice, five days apart.

The call left on my voicemail said that I won a "TRIP FOR YOU AND YOUR SPOUSE TO EXCITING LAS VEGAS!!" Which is funny because I definitely don't have a spouse, nor was I ever married.
