I dialed the number back and it said to enter my number to have it remove from their list.

they called hung up , this is a government  phone they are calling what idiots

Called form number, answered call.  Caller then hung up.  Redialed call and they said to be taken off their list to enter my phone number -- .

no message was left

I have been getting many "hangup" calls from this number as well.  I was wondering if anyone actually did input their phone number to be "removed from  their list"?  I was afraid that they are just annoying people into gather good phone numbers to sell to telemarketers.  Then again if they have caller ID then they already got me.

I just got called by this number as well. Anyone we can complain too?

Received a call at 8:34AM this morning.  Left no message.  After finding this information (that I am adding to now) on the Internet, I called the number back.  The message said it was a "Removal Request Line" and to enter my ten digit telephone number.  I entered all zeroes and the # sign, as requested.  Response was 'We're sorry but your number could not be located ..we will have a representative call you within 72 hours....'.  WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE????????

I have received a total of three calls, time 5:24PM, as of right now.

Have received calls from this number 6 times.  My computer answers calls and blocks unknowns such as this, and gives them a message to call from an identified phone.  They ingnore it.  My computer also generates telemarketer block tones, which they ignore.  I am also on the do not call list...

This number rang my cellphone (11:20am eastern) twice and then hung up.  Strange thing is that I could not answer the phone on my cell.  I have a PocketPC phone and it would not function as a phone to answer.  I rebooted the phone and it works okay.  I'm not sure if it was the call coming in or me needing a new phone.

I also got a call from this phone number. Total 3 calls, but first two didn't answer (it's very unliquely that someone from an 800 number will dial my cell phone) so I just  pick up on the 3rd one and said "Who's this?" I got a voice from a female asking "Can I speak with Erick please?" and my response was "You dialed a wrong phone number" then she asked again to speak with Erick which then I gave back the same answer and then hang-up. I got curious about what was that phone number from and that's how I found about this site. I dialed back to the 800 number and got the same message to enter my phone number to get removed from their list, obvious I did not anything but hang the phone.

They are calling a phone inside a corporate network that is not listed outside and thus not on the Do Not Call list.  I have no idea, other than pure random, how they got this number.  I get a call about every 90-120 minutes.  It started August 7th about 3pm.  You can hear the hangup after I pick up the receiver.  I will be refering this to my legal department.

I just got the same call as everyone above.  They call and hangup.  When you call back you receive a recording stating how you can be removed from their list.

8/9/07, 10:47AM Pacific time.  Answered but nothing there...no hangup...nothing.

I got the same call 3 times in the past 4 days.  They call and hangup.  When you call the number, it's a recording stating to input your number to be removed from the caller list. It started on Aug 6th about 4:45 pm.  I just received another one again about 15 minutes ago.  I'm not sure how they got my number in the first place.  It's sure pissing me off.  I filed a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry.
