mimi - 26 Jan 2008Called my mom in law said they were an attorney & had an important matter to discus with me. Said it was beneficial I call.
She gave hubby's cell # and the caller would not say what this is about. Then they began calling hubby 5 and 6 times a day so hubby of course chewed them out. Each time they state they are an attorney & have a benefit matter to discuss with me.
After looking them up I see they are a collection agency for many companies to include Avon. My final bill with Avon was paid so I have no clue why they are calling...LOL!

If you seek free legal advise you are sure to get at least 3k for one phone call with them breaching the law.. Legal helpers offers free legal help in certain states other states they don't help in check with the bar in your state.. get your money

We just not got a call from Mrs. Jones, stating that an affadavit had been filed in their office against my husband on July 3, 2008, and either he or our lawyer needed to call them right away. They never claimed to be a lawyer, just that an "affadavit had been filed in their office."

"WER'E MAKING A DECISION BY SUCH-AND-SUCH A TIME" is the typical ruse of a thug collection agency trying to intimidate someone into immediately paying an alledged debt. The deal is, they get NOTHING without first validating the debt they are calling about.
Tell them when they call back (and I am sure they will), that you have their address and will be sending them a Cease Communication Letter and DEMANDING they validate the debt they are calling about and hang up.
