this number called but didn't leave a message... I did not answer...

It is US BANK calling to either a: follow-up regarding an issue you had or b: calling to offer services.

US BANK - I applied for a credit increase today. They hung up. Maybe its to see if the number you provided is real.

Its US BANK, making sure I was treated well recently in one of there branches..

Asked for my date of birth, but felt uncomfortable so I asked for number to call back. Got one and extent plus name. Realize alot of it can be fake. So i called us bank main number and asked if they knew about ew number they gave me to call back (866) 477-3232. The could not find it. I played it safe and did not call back.

missed call; called back ... its US Bank calling to offer services and make sure I am satisfied with my accounts. That is what the automated response said. I'm at work so I do not have time to deal with it so I just hung up.

I think this is a scam.  vlaiming they are US bank but they are not.  Do not give personal information.

IT IS A SCAM!! Supposedly a courtesy call but this is the second number they have called me from today - the other one is 800-379-8461 - this one is supposedly from the Fraud unit. I DO NOT have ANY account with US Bank and never had one - this is bogus, they are just trying to get account and or credit card numbers. >>>>>>>>>>>>DO NOT give them any information!!

This is US Bank.  I have several accounts with that bank and went on its website to explore its line of credit offerings.  I started an application but then cancelled it.  Gentleman (accounts specialist) then called me from this number next day to find out why I had not completed my application on the bank web site and offered to assist me by phone in completing my application.

I have accounts at USB. They keep calling but don't leave a message. Very irritating. They have my email address and mailing address so they should contact me by email/mail if it is important and if urgent, leave a phone message. Reconsidering my choice of banks.

The # called me 2x's, no caller ID so I didn't answer. It says US bank when you call back. So I called my bank & they had no records of any calls that were made to me. They said it was most likely a fraud call.
Be cautious!! And don't offer any info if you do answer. If its really the bank, they already have your info!!

This number is listed as US Bank they are calling to get customer satisfaction survey. I did not answer but
called back to find out for sure if it indeed was US Bank. You still do now want to give out personal information only confirm information they give you. If you still are feeling good about this call call your local branch and talk to them to have them verify the reason you were called.

I told them not to call and they keep calling me. Every time I explore their web site they assume I want something and/or had a problem navigating, etc. and call me later the same day. If I want something I'll let them know. Seriously thinking of changing banks.

We've received 2 calls from this number in the last 2 days.  The problem is, they sound very legitimate, saying they're calling from US Bank's Internet Department.  We do bank with US Bank, but make it a habit never to give out personal information over the phone, nor do business with anyone that cold calls us.  Unfortunately we don't have Caller ID, but I was able to get this phone number as a call-back number.  When I dialed it, I got a recorded message that still sounded suspicious.  If I have a problem with my bank, I will go into the branch, or go to their website and get their contact info from there.

I suggest you call your personal banker at US Bank before you take this call as legitimate.   It is a scam and they are using US Bank's name.   It is not US Bank.  There are so many scams out there using legitimate business names trying to get people to switch.  Your personal banker can tell you if this is for real or not.  I for one will not switch banks just because someone is scamming them.   I check it out first.  Good luck.

I got a call from 800 277 3700 and he claimed he was a US Banker.  Talking a lot about the same stuff mentioned in this thread.  "I saw you were on our website, how was it, do you know we have an overdraft policy, etc."  He didn't push for personal information other than asking if my name was correct.

I called US Bank fraud to check the number, it is nowhere in their listing, but that they do have outside gallop surveys that call on their behalf, but that they are required to identify themselves as gallop, where this idividual clearly stated he was a US Private Banker 3 times. Be careful with this number.

Got a call from this ph# 800-277-3700 then person hung up. does not seem legit.
