I got a call today from this  number.  He made a second call this evening and called me by my first name only.  This is a new scam number by this team.  If you listen to your voicemail message, they have background noise on the phone.  It sounds like they are calling from an office and you can hear other people in the background.  This is  a new number calling me.  It is not on my 15 page list of numbers.  It takes a couple of days to get a new number going.  They will call you forever.

I got a call from 800-281-8181. The caller said he was calling me about my Yahoo account and that someone had tried to hack it and he was going to help me. I didn't believe him, I think HE is the HACKER.

They said they were contacting me to let me know that my gmail account had been compromised and I needed to get on my account so they could walk me through what I needed to do to correct the problem.  I told them that I didn't have Internet access acailable. The man kept insisting that I get on my account for him to help me. I then informed him that my Fiancée was a Computer Tech and he hung up on me.

I just received a call from a man who called himself Ricky with an accent that sounded like he was from India. He stated he was with YAHOO and that the computer using my YAHOO id has an error that will crash my computer. He wanted me to connect to my YAHOO account so he could walk me through how to fix the error. When I questioned him about the error he tried talking some crap about error that I know does not exist. I know this is a scam and told him not to call again.

Just called me and wanted me to get on my computer i told him call me back in a half hour well news for him my husband will be home then :D

 I got the call, well the wife answered & went through all the blah blah till I came in then he said all the same BS listed but since I use a pre paid phone I asked him what he was selling and he kept going back to you are spamming peoples emails & he needs me to get on my puter so he could walk me through the fix... asked him again what he was selling & I am on a pre paid & slammed the receiver down on him...lol... Date me much...M... (EVIL ZJ)

This number called me FOUR TIMES today. I didn't pick up the first time, looked up their number, and then blocked them. Throughout today I received three notifications on my phone saying this number attempted to reach me again.

Extremely annoying.

I got the call from this jerk from India saying my Yahoo got hacked so I hung up on him asap. i'm calling yahoo right now to let them know, but im wondering how many ppl  on here that got this Scam call has HP desktop or laptop? I think it may be some Crooked tech support  from the company.

I received a call from this number today, I did not recognize the number so I did not answer. I figured if it was important whomever they are, they would leave a message.  It is interesting that you mention HP.  I myself have a HP laptop and ever since I have had it, I have been getting all sorts of calls from unknown numbers.  So frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got a call from this number as well asking to access my computer over the Internet because my email had been comprised and that they were going to fix the problem. I do not have a computer by the way. The person knew my full name and my email.

I also have another number they may be calling from located in California, from a residential adress!
If you see this Number pop up on you caller ID its most likly the same firm working out of that residence, if this Number calls me again I may have to pay a vist to this person if the FBI or other agency's don't do anything... Here is the number, please avoide the caller pertains to this number

I signed up with Women Get It Free to receive coupons and samples. All I did get are emails and calls from every thief under the sun, including the people at this number.

The caller referred to me by the nickname I only use associated with my shopping yahoo email address, so I already knew something was not right. Just as others here have said, he claimed someone tried to access my email account, and he would help me fix the problem. I laughed at him and hung up.

Been getting calls from this number for days. Finally answered it and it was a guy who sounded like he was from India.  Same scam as others. He said my yahoo email account was sending criminal type emails. I laughed at him and he says is this funny I said yup. He says its not, I then told him I was a cop which I am and he still tried to tell me I was doing criminal stuff.  What bothered me is he had my confidetial address. Just beware dont give out any info...
