They call 3-4 times every day and don't leave a message on our answering set.  They start calling before 830AM each day instead of after 9AM like the law says.

Starting at 11:30 CT calling 4-5 times over 3 hour period

This is GE Money - calling about a past due credit card payment

They called me in California at 11:14am.

Received call at 8:15am, no message left.

called several times in one day.  Should be a hint.

They can call you seven days a week between 8am and 9pm. I'd ask them if they have a pen and paper and when they say they do, tell them to write you a letter and hang up.

Think about it. They're recording the call. Are you? I tell them since I'm not recording the call my lawyer told me not to talk to them. If you have a lawyer, they're not allowed to talk to you, but they may ask the lawyers name so they can talk to him/her. Doesn't mean they'll stop calling.

And how do you know who they are really? Are the identity thieves? Tell them you want the address for Cease and Desist. Then send them a letter telling them not to call you anymore. They can call once more to tell you they won't be calling anymore. They still do. I'm pretty sure this only applies to thrid party collectors, but a bank knew right away knew what I was talking about. Don't be fooled when they start telling you they "need to verify information," like "What's your work phone number."  Pretend you're talking to a cop who's investigating you, and your lawyers not there. Don't tell them anything. Hell, they were stupid enough to lend you money in the first place.

So think about it. Why do they call? It's only for harrassment.

BTW, I sent a certified letter and never received the return receipt back.

This is GE Money they are rentless .   will call first thing Monday thru Sun @8:00 am . back to back calls.......Makes you want to belly up bankrupt just to screw them......I hate this company no others cause this kind of abuse
