- PatThey've called me 10 times in the past 2 days (I kid you not). We told them not to call back last night and thye called today saying they'd never called us before! 8-O Guy, I have you on my caller ID 10 times!!
Brandon (the telemarketer today) was rude and not at all interested in answering my questions.- Call type: Telemarketer
- PatThey just called me again! < 30 minutes after the last call!
This time it was an older gentleman, much nicer than the last young man (Brandon). I told him they've called me 11 times in 2 days and twice in less than 30 minutes. I asked him to take me off their list.
Then I called the 888 number on their web page and told their voicemail to not call me anymore.
We'll see if either of those work.- Caller: Navy Vets

- Scooby| 3 repliesFinding this webpage was both a relief and distressing. Nice to know I'm not the only onw, but sorry to see that this harassment might continue for some time.
I have caller ID so I didn't answer the phone, but they called twice today and didn't leave any messages. I'd like to add my name to their internal do-not-call list, but am concerned that that might actually encourage them to increase their calls.- Caller: Out Of Area
- Marge| 1 replyPolitical orgizations and charitable organizations are not banned under the DO NOT CALL. Also, if u donated or had a purchase etc in the past 12-18 months, they are also not banned!!!
- Max replies to RickRick..... paid. Yep Im sure they are enjoying those BIG BUCKS!!! Our servicemen are on 24 call call. Are You? Divide your daily pay by that and see what YOU are worth. I doubt that the servicemen can drop everything and stroll off to the commissary or the fast food restaurant as you have the ability to do. A simple package means alot.
- Jean Allenpeskey and never stops...tell them i do not take telemarketing and they keep calling more often
- Aarli replies to A.L.Oh, you can get them to quit calling - get a loud whistle, and after you have told them NO and they keep talking, let them have it. It works, believe me. I've done it more than once.
- MaryHave received nine calls from this number as of this date (6/23/07). Answering produces no response for about 40 seconds-presumably because it is batch calling and there are insufficient operators to answer. Finally got someone on the line. Explained (very politely) that I do not support charities that use telemarketers and asked that my number be removed from the list. Received three more calls after my request and the last one was accompanied by laughter (more than one person on other end could be heard) and a hang-up. This is an abusive telemarketing company. I urge you not to support the company and to contact the veterans association and tell them that you will not donate to them if they continue to use this company.
- Caller: telemarketer calling for a charity
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Veritas| 2 repliesWe have been receiving calls from this number for about three weeks. We first answered but have never spoken to anyone - the caller disconnects?
Now we just let it ring. - Cassie replies to VeritasWe get lots of calls from 800 numbers and un-known name that show up on the caller ID. (yes...we are on the Do Not call List but its useless) I have told my friends and relatives that I don't answer anymore. I turn the ringer off all of the phones in our home..then just check back on the caller id whenever...and see if its someone we know. I get PEACE.
- Beastmaster| 1 replyThey are back calling again. Got it at 9:18 AM on 06/21/2007. US NAVY Veteran's Association. Didn't answer. Called it back and heard the recording. The U.S. Government does not use telemarketers to get donations, that is why we pay taxes.
- Caller: US NAVY Veterans Association
- Call type: Telemarketer
- carolThis is my first call (6/26/07). They claimed to be Christian Bros. College in Memphis, trying to collection a tuition balance due from 1995! They said the initial balance was $5,000+, but that he'd paid $2,000, and would I pay the balance. They asked odd questions that a college wouldn't ask, much less call at night for a purported balance that is 12 years old. They "threatened" to take it to court. I told them to do whatever they had to do. I think they go through public records and make up a story that fits the town. I don't even live in Tenn., and have a different name, so I don't know how they got my number -- google, maybe?
- Caller: tried to call #, but won't take calls
- Call type: Debt collector
