They have called my fax line 24 times since 11 of this month. I decided to call the number back to see what they wanted and why there were calling a fax number. They are a debt collector. We have no debt and they have a wrong number!! I have blocked the number on fax machine... they can keep calling it.

It's Specialized Loan Servicing (SLS).  Official debt collector for mortgages.  My mortgage has been transferred three times and SLS is my third mortgage servicing company.

Calls from this number are a scam! Do NOT give them ANY information! Be careful. They target seniors.

This was a creepy call. Guy called at about 8:20 pm and would only say his name was Leon and that he had a business opportunity for me. He wouldn't tell me anymore and when I said it sound fishy, he told me he'd call back and hung up. Traced the number to down to a company called SLS. They list the number as a "customer assistance department". Don't give these people any info!

Said his name was larry wont say anymore till I told him my name so I hung up.....................

This number called my cell phone  around 8:15pm on May 11th,  the caller asked for my mom. Not knowing the number and it being in my opinion too late for a business call, I said she was unavailable and asked if I could take a message. The caller then just said no and hung up. Very odd. Asset doing some research I've found that this number belongs to SLS, Specialized Loan Servicing. This company is a mortgage/debt collection agency. My parents refinanced our house about 11 years ago and shortly after receiving their new mortgage the mortgage company sold their mortgage to this SLS company. They suck to put it mildly.

They have appeared at the front door on numerous occasions and if we don't answer they leave an envelope with this 800# number tucked inside and a msg to call them.

We are renting a property that is in foreclosure but have a signed lease that does not expire until March 2016. He was told that twice and asked not to return and to stop trespassing as the owner does not live on the property and he has no right trespassing and harassing us. The owner says he has no control over what he is doing and to call the police if he returns.

The last time this guy came around, a few months ago, I told him NOT to come back as we are not the homeowners and we have a signed lease and to STOP trespassing and harassing us, the renters, or we will call the police. So what does he do? He returns a few weeks later anyway. And trespasses again.

He was trespassing again, disregarding my warnings .... AND he was also aggressively snapping photos of the front door and foyer area where I was standing (using his camera phone) so I grabbed the broom and started swinging it at him but he ducked and I missed. Then I slammed the door and locked it and called the police, but by the time they arrived he had left. He parked too far away for me to see his car make & model and the license plate # from the front of the house.

If he comes back he better hope I am not home as next time I am not going to miss. The broom is going to make contact with his head. Maybe that will knock some sense into his thick skull.

They are an unscrupulous bunch of junk debt-collectors who bought a list of active foreclosures.

They call to see if anyone lives at the phone number they are calling, except for cell phone numbers. If the person who answers doesn't seem to fit the profile of the person whom they are trying to reach (elderly occupants, etc) they mumble something and/or hang up.

They send a "representative" to the house if the person answering sounds elderly or if they have reason to believe a disabled or elderly person lives there and the house is in foreclosure to try to con them into signing an agreement that they will start making modified loan payments to them so they can keep their house instead of getting thrown out on the street. They use scare tactics and actually have no business approaching anyone or being on anyone's property.

Alert the local police if they come around. At first they act business-like, but they are snakes in suits.

They are also checking to see if the house is abandoned or unoccupied. They are bold, creepy and not legitimate.

DO NOT get into a conversation with them on the phone.

DO NOT let them intimidate you. Tell them you are calling the police.

DO NOT allow them to include you in the photo if they should start taking photos of the home.

DO NOT give these people any personal/confidential information.

DO NOT give them a check out of fear Or to get rid of them and make them go away.

DO NOT sign anything at all, even if they threaten you with legal action.

Their clip-on ID's and the ones they wear around their neck are bogus.They have NO power over you. None.

They are con-artists preying on the disabled and elderly. The authorities have been alerted, but need the public's help to track down this group of males who work for this slime operation and who are harassing people on the phone or going to the homes to try to intimidate and extort mortgage loan payments from the tenants/occupants/owners.

The local police dept told me they are a gang of thugs spread out in different regions looking to make a quick buck off of some unsuspecting person. The police are watching them and said they recently changed their number. They're on the case, posing as regular citizens as part of a set-up to stop their illegal operation. Will post the new number soon.

Our mortgage was transferred to SLS too.  They call periodically but I don't answer.

Rude and abrupt

Calls our business constantly and will only say regarding "a personal business matter"

Called my DNC home line and left a message about them being loan services. Blocked the number.

Rude! Came to my house put a door knob envelope  says confidential I didn't answer the door but he took 3 to 4 pictures of the house or that he want to show that he put on a door tag on my door. That's kind of creepy. Open envelope it's from Specialized Loan Servicing LLC an independent field inspector. Why this person taking pictures at my house?? Will video you!

It looks like that group buys mortgages.  Was your mortgage transferred to them?  You should have received a letter in the mail if it was.  If he shows up again, I would call the police and tell them there is a suspicious person in the neighborhood and let them handle it.

my loan was settled through BANK of  AMERICA -due to mishandled -missing fraud documents --I WAS IN A PREDATORY LOAN -FOUGHT FOUGHT FOUGHT-I thought everything was settled then I received a package from SLS loan company (total junk collectors) --they call -I do not answer-they leave written notes on door-what the ???????????????? What to do?????I have contacted BOA they will not give me any info on my own LOAN???????

Got a call from this number at 8 am this morning. It was a recorded call saying "please hold for an important message". That repeated about 4 times, then the recorded voice said "No one is available to assist you at this time. We will try again later."
