I have called the number back and it says "you have contacted the law enforcement and education program....i'm not sure what that is, but I can't track down a re-usable number for them! They ask to speak to my fiance and when I ask who's calling they say they'll call back and then hang up on me! This evening when they called...the first thing I said was please do not hang up the phone. When they asked for my fiance...I replied with "who is calling - you call every night and hang up on me, do not hang up the phone..." as i was saying that he was talking over me telling me he'd call back another time....click. i HATE these people.

Very odd!  I received a call from this number too.  There was a male speaking to a a female.  I could not hear the female very well but the man said, "I'm not saying anything. I';m going to call them back."  The phone then started ringing and I heard a recording, "Welcome to the Internal Revenue Service."  I hung up the phone.  I don't want to talk to them.

They seem to call every hour after 4pm for the past 2 days.  Each time there was no massage on the machine, but they call until the machine is full.... who knows if they call after it is full, since we don't get home till after 9pm.  They don't call after we're home.

We are on the do not call list and we get calls from this number.
If I knew who it was, I would report them. We get calls several times a day.
It is much more than annoying.

This number calls everyday for the last 8 weeks. Their calls range from 6 to 14 a day. No one is ever on the other end so we cannot find out who they are. The calls are always opposite this other number 1-866-857-9477. First one calls, then the other. You would think that with all this great technology in our country that people who abuse the communication system like this, could be easily caught and prosecuted. No one in their right mind would buy or donate anything to such harrassing idiots.

hello SJ, I know how you feel about these annoying callers. We have been inundated for the last 2 mos. Even tho we have caller id we still answer in hopes that we will get to talk to a person and chew them out. It would make us feel better. It is annoying to have the phone ringing constantly during dinner, or on saturdays when we would like to sleep in and it wakes us up. These animals are relentless. Of course it is a computer, but even so do they have any sense or compassion? We are resorting to get the new call silencer. Just have to get some peace from this. Have you heard any negative reports on the call silencer equip? Thanks, elizabeth

These *%&$#'s call me every Saturday morning around 9:30.  I work at home during the day and there are numerous calls coming in of this nature.  That's why I have an answering machine and caller ID with the phone.  No name, no answer and they never leave messages.  I believe they get away with calling because they're non-profit charitable organizations.  What do you know, I'm getting a call now from some "unknown" caller. ....

These people call my parents house start to carry on a conversation as if know them ( by asking for either my father or monther by first name). They say they are with law enforcement and ask for donation.

These jerks continue to call even though I told them not to.
They always ask for the Mrs.  When I ask who's calling they
say something muffled.  I tried calling back but I just get
a message that it's some law enforcement charity for kids but
I doubt it.

This number calls up to 3 and 4 times a day sometimes.  If the answering machine answers, they leave no message.  If I answer, they ask for someone who does not live here.  They don't believe it.  The continual phone calls is very annoying.

I answered the phone on the fifth call since 5pm. It is now 8
:43pm.
The caller called me by name and thanked me for all my prior support. He said he was calling from ACS Services on behalf of Law Enforcement Agency and Amber Alert. I have no memory of prior donations to them. ACS called me before under a different phone number on behalf of the Breast Cancer Society. ACS must be used by several charities for fund raising. If ACS indeed represents these reputable charities, I wonder if they (charities) are aware of their harassing tactics and that they are probably losing more donations than if thsy used less annoying solicitations.Hopefully I was rude enough that they will not call me again.

I get repeated calls all day from this number.  i never answer it, let the answering machine pick it up.  You would think that after awhile they would get the message, but this has been going on for weeks now.  Does anyone know any way to make them stop calling????

Unwanted calls several times a day.

I keep getting at least 2 calls per week from this number, today someone spoke and I told them to get me off from their list, the person said they were from the law enforcement agency.

two calls inside of an hour and a half from "Aaron Davis" wanting to speak only with my wife about the "program". Would give no info as to what the call was about. This aggressive [***] was told to put us on their do not call list as we were on the federal list. He said "You're on the federal list?" and hung up. Proceeded to call back shortly sounding less amped up and slightly looser than the previous call. He sounded confused when i told him he had called earlier and i requested no more calls. I asked how much he had to drink this evening and he stated he doesn't drink and hung up. Left a voicemail to request a third time no more calls. Perhaps I'll start faxing my request every 1.5 hours....
