I've got a call from this number. No voice mail left.

This is a debt collection company.  They've left me several voicemails, but they talk so fast that I can never make out what the name of their company is.

Called to have me call them as soon as possible. It was impossible to understand their name but google search of the number identified as ocwen. Also showed a lot of complaints. my number is on the "do not call" list but they don't seem to care.

Same as other posts - keep getting called, at all times of the day, never anyone of phone!

This is Ocwen Loan servicing. They are a Mortgage servicer. The collection department is in India, so you won't understand them. They are fairly aggressive. If you past your grace period, they are going to call you and pester you to death.

With English accent. Yes, probably from India. Asked to speak with the owners, saying (almost too fast to understand) "..this is calling about Jessica..." then they hung up. Clowns!

They have called me 15 times since 8 this morning. I called my husband to ask who he thought the number belonged to and he didnt' know. Now I know who's been calling me over and over and over each and every day. My payment is not late yet?

I've been getting a several calls per day from Ocwen as well. This has been going on for the past 3 weeks now. Ocwen has never identified itself on voice mail. Only leaves messages for me to call. I actually answered the phone one day and spoke with a live person once, and yes there is a thick accent. Didn't know who was calling until I did a Google search. This is harrassment! I'm never late with payments, so why are they calling. I want the calls to stop ASAP!

These idiots keep calling my 14 son.....He nor I have a mortgage with these people.

They called me over and over for a week. I don't even have a loan from them. I finally called back the number, wasted four minutes on my phone, and asked to be taken off their list and not called anymore.

Ditto . . . get calls repeatedly. Cannot hear or understand caller. Haven't had a mortgage loan with a bank or financial institution in YEARS!! (Last bank loan was paid-off when i sold my house).

We get calls constantly from this number as well as 800-310-9229, they say they are from OWCEN calling for a personal business manner, we do have a mortgage with them, we have never been late and our standing is excellent with the credit bureaus. When they call they have asked for us by name, and then in order to tell us what it is about they say they need us to verify the last 4 digits of our SS #, and I tell them if that they called us, they should have all that information. I WILL NOT GIVE OUT #SS'S OR VERIFY OUR ADDRESS AT ALL !!!......I really do think it is a SCAM. They have also called from another number 800-746-2936, with the same crap, but with this number they sound like they are from India. This morning when they called, they asked for us by name, I told them they had the wrong number, the guy sounded really mad........oh well !!!......So much for the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY.......IT'S A REAL JOKE !!!.....Another thing is they are really stupid if they think people don't have caller ID, well I DO !!........HA HA HA

Additional concerns of consumers relate to extra charges levied by the company. As reported by Ocwen: "Ocwen does charge a $10.00 fee to produce a payoff statement and a $20.00 one-time fax fee if the customer requests this delivery method. Ocwen does not charge any fees for early payoff of a customer's loan except as provided for in the terms and conditions of their Note and Mortgage". As of April 19, 2004, received copy of Notice from Office of Thrift Supervision United States Department of the Treasury. In part the notice advised of a Supervisory Agreement between Ocwen Federal Banks and Office of Thrift Supervision. The company agrees to take steps to: Improve its mortgage loan servicing practices, including its dealings with consumers whose loans are serviced by the Bank and to enhance its compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Further, the company will develop, adopt and implement an acceptable plan to improve the manner and reduce the time in which it appropriately resolves consumer complaints/disputes. This company comes under the direct supervision of the Office of Thrift Supervision, Northeast Regional Office, 10 Exchange Place, Jersey City, NJ 07302. According to a spokesperson from that agency, the company is allowed to charge these fees. If, you have an complaint against the company, that remains unresolved you may wish to file a complaint with the Office of Thrift Supervision at the address listed in the above paragraph.

We get these calls all day long, we are on the DNC Registry what a joke that is. The calls on the Caller ID say 800 Service and these are the numbers that show up.

These calls are annoying me, sometimes I pick up the call and then hang it back up. Or if they ask for us I tell them they have the wrong number. I even have gotten so mad that I answer the call and have taken a whistle and blown it as hard as a can. Hoping that would stop these calls. Don't they have anything better to do than harrass people.
