The caller calls, asks for Jane and leaves a return number to call and a reference number. It's a recording so I cannot explain to them they they must have the wrong number. The company name is CCS - a collection agency. I'll see if they stop calling within the next days, if not I will need to call them back. Hate that!

Unknown who this company is and a live person does not answer when I try to call back.  A recording comes on and so there is no one to take my call and explain that they have a wrong number.

Got a few calls from in last few weeks. I did not pick up the calls. The did not leave message.

Receive calls, no messages. Called back got a recording then silence.

I personally I have received several messages from this number. I am not going to pick up calls from unfamiliar numbers. If they do not leave a detail message providing the company name, call back number and what it's regarding. I've heard there are companys out there that try to rip off people with fees in the thousands.

getting calls almost every day. this has been going on since november now. how can i stop this?

Every few days a recorded call from CCS for "Amanda Fulkerson" - never had received a call for this person before.  Leaves a reference number.  No way to leave a message to stop calling my number.

These guys have been calling me for months too, asking for someone whom I've never met. I did a whois on their website. Might be worth writing them...I'll try.

I keep getting calls for a Vernel Browder.  I have no clue who this is.  I tried to call back with the 11 digit file number, but I do not have the zip code on the so-called form so it disconnects me.  How can I get these calls to stop!?!?!?

They called me tonight, and I just put them on the Do Not Call registry, even though it is my cell phone they called. I'm not going to be calling them back, after reading these posts. Thanks Michael G, for that info you posted, and if you hear back from them, could you let us know? :) Thanks!

Have been getting calls from this number.  Called, they can give me no proof of what I owe or the company number to who I owe to.  They did say if I pay them 25.oo they will leave me alone.  WHAT A SCAM!

This company -CCS- keeps calling our home and asking for phillip hernandez.  No such person lives here. these calls have been coming every couple weeks for the last 5 months.

I just received the same call today. Its been going on for a while. This is the first time i actually answered it. It said my name and then that I had a file number and to call back during regular business hours...so why did they call me if they just want me to call back some other time? I dont know who these people are, but I do not owe money to anyone on this planet. So, this must be some scam.

This is CCS and you can never reach a real person just a recorder when you call back the 1800 number, so you have to call  617-965-2000 and tell them they have the wrong number and to make the changes... They have been calling me for 9 months and i just figured out how to contact them directly so hopefully it works!

I am getting automated phone call which is asking for someone - Chris Adison (thats what I heard)
They asked me to have this person call back on the given number.
Recently, someone called and was asking for this guy. After I told him that I dont know who this person is, the caller kept telling that I am lying and that I am Chris ! Not sure what to do with him.
