Nothing to see here.  I flew Delta to my home city on the day of the call to my home phone.  No message was left.  Also received an email from them regarding the early arrival of my luggage.

Received a call on my cell. Googled the phone no. It says Delta Luggage. Never flown Delta. So, not sure why they are calling.

This is the Delta Airlines lost luggage customer help line (at least for me - I flew them today and they said my bags didn't make it on the plane).
But a tip to you - stay with the luggage carousel at the airport until the last bags from your plane are delivered - in my case, Delta called me and also emailed me that my bags were not on the plane, but as the luggage was coming up the belt after we landed, there were my bags after all (so stick with the carousel until the bags are all done, just in case your bags really did make the plane, in spite of the call/email).

It really is Delta Airlines, not a scam. Whomever made the baggage claim wrote down the wrong number (mine) instead of their number. It happens.

Might be a telemarketer for the airlines or a scammer impersonating them and spoofing the number, but it is a number published on their website:
