- julie| 4 repliesI do not answer 800 numbers. I let my answer maching take the call to see if they will leave a message.
Pertaining to this number - a recorded message stated it was a collection agency and was looking for - another voice came on identifying a name (a name I've never heard of) ... then recorded message continued ... saying to hang up if I was not that person that the call was not for me. I picked up my phone and hung up!- Caller: Unknown Name
- NOT 8003260120 replies to julie| 1 replyI just got a call and it's not the first time from that number. All the caller ID says is Toll Free Call. I call them back and it's an enhanced, her words, collection agency for the guy that was the first owner of our home, that we own and have lived in since 1989. Our number is unlisted so how the heck is someone getting the original owners name and my phone number, this long after he is no longer here and I'm getting calls for him. I'm very confused. I call them back so they won't bother me I have nothing to hide or any problems, but it's annoying!
- KevinJ| 1 replyCollectors search the tax info to trace people. So they look up an old address and find the new owners phone number. Unlisted or not, they find the numbers.

- bdReceived a call from 800-326-0120 again. Looking for someone who owes someone money. I called the number back and got a very nice person who said she would delete our number from that person's file since we do not know them, have never known them and don't want to know them.
Hopefully this is our last call from that number.
The person I spoke to was most helpful and professional.
I appreciated that.- Caller: Enhancement Recovery Corp

- Fedup replies to KevinJThey told me the person they are looking for is Chris Young.
- Baconfat| 3 repliesA robot just called me and didn't make any noise. I put the phone down and it took 2 min 10 sec for it to hang up.
How do we get revenge on these turds who waste our time.- Caller: not provided
- Mr. Guerrero| 1 replyI got a call from these idiots yesterday, there was dead silence then a busy signal. Today I get a call again from the same number 1-800-326-0120. Today, an automated voice comes on and says "this call is for _________ If you are not _________ Hang up! (Well I listened) and it went on to say that I needed to call 1-800-326-0120 and the referance number was _________.
What irritated me was the fact that for two days now I have gotten calles from this same number. This morning, their system didnt say who the call was for, nor did it give a referance number. I took the time to call them and was met by a mouthy [***] who starts talking down to me telling me she is looking for PATRICIA CHAVEZ! She goes on to say... Does Patricia Chavez live there? Are you Paticia Chavez? Are you related to Patricia Chavez? My words to her was Shut Up [***] let me speak! She hung up on me! I called the number back and got some black dude (I could tell by his ebonic slang) I told him that I did not appreciate being woken up out of a dead sleep after getting home from work at 3AM! It was 8AM and yes I was pissed that I had been asleep for less than 4 hours. I told him (and I was just as mouthy) that I did not appreciate phone calls from collection agencies for people that dont reside in my home. I told him to take my phone number out of their data base and quit bothering me. I will be looking for the location of this company and filing a complaint with the Attorney General of that state in response to their idiodic tactics.- Caller: Enhanced Recovery Corp

- COCOI don't answer but a message is left. The lady stated her name was Kim and that she was from a collection agency trying to get in touch with...but no name is given and said to give a reference number when you call back...but no number was given...it blanks out...
Once I did get a reference number but never called back. It was from the same number. They call at least once or twice a week.
Since I know I am not behind in any payments, I just don't bother calling back.- Caller: Was given but don't remember
- Call type: Debt collector
- Trisha replies to julieThey called me and said to call back if I was that person, but you can't talk to a live person! I called back to say I'm not that person, but they never answered. I reported them on the National Do Not Call Registry!
- tired of itSecond call this week from this number. They call all the time and leave a voicemail message stating they are looking for (in a really BAD robotic voice) J-U-A-N-C-A-R-L-O-S-C-A-R-I-N-A-S (no break when spelling the name). If you are not J-U-A-N-C-A-R-L-O-S-C-A-R-I-N-A-S, please press 2 or hang up.
Now, how the heck is my answering machine supposed to press 2 or hang up??????
I'm ready to CHANGE MY PHONE NUMBER!!!- Caller: no clue
- AngryI have been receiving calls from this number repeatedly for months. I've tried calling them back and it never worked until just now, when I got a live person. I told this individual that I've been getting calls constantly from this number and I wanted to know why. He said that it 'may be for you and may not be' so I said it definitely was not, as I have NO DEBT and want the calls to stop. He got an attitude with me and I said remove me from your list now and if you call again that's going to be considered harassment and that I had already looked them up on the internet and I knew they were a scam company.
He had the audacity to say 'how are we a scam company' [as if the fact they're seemingly RANDOMLY calling people to tell them they 'may' have debt isn't shady enough! I've had this CELL number for 11 years now, there's no way it's not random.] and 'oh, well, you looked us up on the internet, ooh' all sarcastically. And I said, just remove me and he ACTUALLY HUNG UP ON ME! Like that's not proving the point that they are shady, I didn't swear or yell or anything and a legit company would not have hung up like that.- Call type: Debt collector
- AnnoyedGatorReceived phone call, picked up the handset and set "Hello?" then waited and said "Hello?" a few more times. There was no noise on the other end, so I hung up.
Since we have fielded literally *hundreds* of phone calls (and dozens of postal letters) for the people who owned our phone line before us, namely, "Carrie Roberts" or sometimes "Richard Roberts" of Gainesville, FL, who moved three years prior and apparently left no forwarding address, calls to our number from collection agencies do not surprise me. (I'm sorry, when you skip out of town without a forwarding address, you automatically give the new tenants the right to tell the world how many times their baby's nap was broken because of collection agencies calling about YOUR business.) However, most of these calls had stopped within the last year, so it seems possible the owner of 1-800-326-0120 may be an agency of last resort, perhaps one of those companies that buys up bad debt to give one last kick at the can... Any theories? - HarrassedA computer calls and asked for a person who we do not know. It says to hang up if you are not this person or this person does not live here.
I have hung up many times but yet the calls continue several times over a several week period. I finally call back and lose it! I tell them this is the wrong number and that they have a glitch in thier system that keeps calling when the directions are followed to let them know this is the wrong number. I was so mad I called back 4 times to tell them I was recording the call for legal purposes and I am going to find out what legal reprocussions can be made toward this harassing behavior!!!!- Caller: collecton of some type
- Debbie Watkins replies to BaconfatHere is the name of an attorney who opperates online, he has handled several cases for me concerning harrassing phone calls, and it was nice to get some money from them, which btw did teach them not to bother me anymore. the name is: Larry P. Smith, lsmith@lpsmithlaw.com, 312-222-9028. Seriously call these people, it's so nice not here my phone ringing off the hook.
- AnonymI am reporting for my 86 year old parent who is tired of these calls waking her up in the morning! It is obviously a WRONG NUMBER and there is never a live person who can take the correction or even care, it seems. I am about to write a certified CEASE AND DESIST letter to these people to leave her alone! (At my expense! My mother is NOT going to change her phone number!) mOM is a diabetic and has high blood pressure and these harassing wrong numbers are not good for her health!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My mother has had her phone number for 3-4 years and has no bad debt any where.

- WillitsStarted getting calls from 800-326-0120 this morning on my cell. As I did not recognize the number I refused the call. The suspicious thing is last month I was getting calls from another company, Leading Edge which is also located in Illinois. I contacted them via email and they said the calls were a mistake and that they were taking my number off the list. Yea, sure. Going to contact the Attorney Generals office.
