a recorded message from Regions Bank asking me to call 800-333-4104

Got a message on my answering maching asking me/us to call Regions Bank at that number, but I'm quite sure its a phishing scam.

Caller left message - when I returned the call an automated voice asked me to enter my social security number or account number.

I have verfied this number and the number is legit... Regions Bank or some may know the bank by AmSouth. Both Regions Bank and AmSouth merged about a year or more ago. If you are getting these calls the simplest reason would be that they didnt get your payment or you have made a payment on your loan. These Regions / AmSouth collectors (as I call them) work for Regions Bank and are not third party collectors. To find out all this stuff I really had to do some legit. research. There tol free number is 1-800-333-4104. Good luck.

Let me guess.  You are part of this calls.  I have never did business with Regions Bank or AmSouth.  I also never had a loan.  It is a scam.

This is Regions,  SLG it isn't a scam, perhaps they had the wrong number.  If you have a loan account with Regions and this number is calling, it's because you missed or are late with a payment.

I don't think this is a legit number from Regions. I just got a call and it's Sunday. Businesses and collectors do not call on Sunday EVER, and my credit is soooo bad, I should know!

Bull [***]. I have NO loan with them, thus, I am not late on any missed payment. Now what is the excuse for calling a "Do not Call" listed number ?

Just got a call from this number. I have never heard of this bank before nor do I have a loan so I do not believe it to be collections on a late payment.

I have verfied this number with Regions Bank. If you are getting these calls the simplest reason is that they are trying to scram you.Remember the bank will not ask you for your ss# are acc.# they already have it.

This is bull. First off the bank will not call you and ask for your account no.are ss number for they already have it, so there fore you must be the scrammer.

It's legit. Regions Bank needing to get in touch with you about payments on a loan you have with them, which may be delinquent.

It is Regions Bank. They're usually calling from this number (an automated call) to see if you've sent your payment in or to find out when they can expect it. Not a scam. If you're someone who is not doing business with them, you'll have to decide whether or not you would like to follow up with them in the future.

I've been receiving calls daily from this number, they've been leaving voicemails stating its an attempt to settle a debt.  When I answered they asked me to verify my account information, so I said you called me, you tell me what it is, then they hung up.

Contacted Regions through their legitimate number off of their website, and they verified this is indeed a scam. This number has no affiliation with Regions Bank. They will never ask for any account or social security information. DO NOT GIVE YOUR INFORMATION TO THIS CALLER.
