We received an order for 100 blood pressure monitors for over $5k.  Turns out this person, Terry Ceil with New Era Medical, is using stolen card #'s from USAA Federal Bank. The red flag for us was that they wanted to use their own personal shipper (DHL) to have the items shipped to the UK.  Their #'s were disconnected and they would only use email, neweramedicalinc@googlemail.com & neweralmedicalinc@gmail.com. If they are using cards #'s that start with #5491, call USAA Fed at 1-210-498-2265 to report the card #'s.

I also got a message from him, here is what it says:

Do i need to "take this order" so that i can get a card # to report? or should i just disregard altogether?

We recieved an order for a $3,500 piece of equipment and Terry Ceil would only communicate via e-mail as he or she claimed to be deaf.  Terry would not give me a functioning fax and could not sign a sales aggreement.  Terry provided the credit card and it was declined. Terry seems to be associated with James Suppliers Int  out of Mansfield, MA.  The street address for James Suppliers does not seems to exist.  

James Suppliers actually gave a credit cards that did get approved and we did ship one system.  This is so discouraging.  Please beware.

We had the same type of e-mail as yours with a ship to in Sheridan, MI and Bonnie [***].  We were told she was deaf.  James Suppliers int in Mansfield, MA and New Era Medcial Inc in Newark, DE on Corporate blvd.  Her is just one of the e-mails I recieved from Terry trying to forfill the order.
"Yes every thing  is correct and about the telephone number am very sorry to inform you that  Bonnie [***] is deaf i always talk with her through email, so i will like you to process it like that and let me know when you will ship out my order...

I've been around this business a very long time, and this email screamed scam. Poor grammar. Typos. Urgent need. No phone number. And, thanks to Google Maps street view - a nice shot of inner-city vacant lots at the purported location in New York. Searching on the street address in California brought me to this website.

I got the EXACT same message as "smbanyan" - (7 Jul 2009) did. Only our product name was in there. All the other typos, poor grammer, and formatting was exactly the same.

Does anyone get the point of this? How does he get $$$ in this scheme?

Just curious.

My guess is he gets some poor sucker to send the goods to him believing that the credit card is OK until its declined.
