- Darrell| 13 repliesI haven't received calls from this company, but I constantly receive junk mail from them.
The name of the company is VSC Administration and they sell extended auto warranties. The outside of the (junk) letters will state "2nd attempt" and "request immediate action - time sensitive material enclosed".
I have repeatedly called to be removed from their address list with no success. These *#@^&%^&er's will ask you to provide the access code listed in the letter. Once you provide the number and they find out that you're only wanting to be removed from the mailing list....they'll put you on hold and just leave you there.
There's no mailing address listed in the junk letters, so the only means of contact is the 1-800 number. This has been going on for several years and I'm tired of it. They used to send a return form and paid postage return envelope, but stopped about a year ago. Probably because many people probably did what I did.....send the form back with a not so nice note to remove me from the list.
I'm not sure how the sorry SOB's got my address in the first place. If anyone has any recourse to make them stop....I'd love to hear it. I'll spend whatever time is necessary to give them a taste of their own medicine!

- La Amy replies to Darrell| 2 repliesI've been getting junk mail from this annoying company too. I tried to look up their number in search of an address to tell them to take me off of their list. This is the only link I could find with their number- another person complaining too. Dumb b*stards. I hate how they make their mail look like it is coming from a collection agency.
- Ct| 5 repliesThis is not a call, but it is the only number of a junk mail.
I also got this Junk mail. At first I was shocked by the title state "2nd attempt" and "request immediate action - time sensitive material enclosed", with small character "$2000 Fine, 5 years imprisonment, or both for any person interfering or obstructing with delivery of this letter US Mail TTT.18 U.S. CODE". I thought the letter might come from some administration offices and needed to take it seriously. But I just find it is similiar as other junk letter for extended warranties.
These SOB are really annoying. Should I complain to 911? Or any other offices to stop their such silly action?- Caller: VSC Administration

- Elspeth replies to CtYou could try taking the junk mail to the US Post Office nearest you. They may not know anything about it, but they handle anything fraudulent received by USPS mail (and this would qualify).
- Mike-in-MD replies to CtDo not complain to 911, this is not any kind of emergency. If you do you may find yourself fined. There is little the Post Office can do although you could ask for the Obscene Mail form and fill it out. The lack of an address for this company may make it difficult though. BTW, it is solely the recipient who determines what constitutes Obscene Mail but using that form can get some junk mail stopped.
The law they cite on their envelope is the basic law that deals with all mail sent via the USPS. - loonefarm replies to CtTry the Better Business Bureau!!
- Dianna replies to Darrell| 1 replyLQQK Warning !! IMPORTANT NOTICE: *** THIS IS A FAKE WARRANTY COMPANY ***
PHONE NUMBER ---- 1-800-335-1522 FAKE COMPANY THAT PROVIDES NO SERVICE
I received this twice myself.
They are a FAKE Warranty Company that pray on people who are afraid of having a car that is not covered under warranty. My husband works in parts and service for a car dealer and people come in all the time with this type of coverage and they DON'T PAY FOR ANYTHING. They have a hard time connecting with them and than they get a notice it is NOT COVERED. PLEASE ANYONE GETTING THIS TYPE OF MAIL with the phone number 1-800-335-1522, DON'T PURCHASE anything from them. Any mail that doesn't have a return address or they leave you on hold is not a real company. These companies pop up all the time and the average person doesn't know how to report them. I feel this is the only way to get the word out until the proper authorities catch up with them. - PeterThanks to everyone for your help. Got the notice, googled the number, & got the very helpful answers above. Notice heading to the garbage can :)
- J.GeronaJust a heads up, these are the same criminals who used the number 800-483-1759, which also was/is a scam warranty. If you get this notice report it to the FTC and BBB. Then trash it.

- Karen| 1 replyI got my 2nd attempt today and called and asked to remove my name. He wanted how many miles I had on my car to remove my name!!! I told him he wasn't getting any info and if he didnt remove my name I was going to turn him in. He ridiculously kept saying he had to go thru several screens to do so since I wouldn't give him that info., also told him if they ever called I was reporting them because I was on the DNC list and he said " yes mam" . We'll see if it works. I hate scam companies like this that survives scamming people. :(

PO BOX 28248
ST LOUIS, MO.63132
i called and got this mailing address, first, going to invest in a stamp, and mailed the form back with a note ,of course, then file a report with the "ftc" and "bbb" and the "usps" , then maybe these forms will cease and deceast. - Watson| 1 replyI get the junk mail from these people every couple of months. So I just call their number: 800-335-1522 and ask a few stupid questions just to take up their time and phone minutes. Of course I block my number. I can't say that his helped one way or the other in the long run. But. I'm retired and have extra time on my hands when I'm watching the Western channel in the mornings while drinking my coffee - gives me something to do. I do it with other numbers too. Give it a try !
- Caller: 800-335-1522
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Mike-in-MD replies to WatsonGood tactic but just be aware that blocking your number does not work when calling toll free numbers. The owners of those numbers are paying for the calls and have the legal right to see the number of those who call so as to deal with abusive callers. Too bad we poor consumers do not have the same right to see the real number of those who call so they can be traced and sued if they are DNC violators.
- Anonymous Researcher| 1 replySo, after a little digging around, I found additional information about these scammers that keep sending me spam mail about my vehicle service contract with no return address and just the phone number 1-800-335-1522. Turns out these mailings are coming from a giant shell corporation scheme (countless associated phone numbers, doing business as names, etc.) with a large history of fraud and abuse.

- Tony replies to CtYou should call 911! Are you for real?
- Dory replies to Darrell| 3 repliesI managed to get a mailing address - it is PO box 28248 St Louis MO 63132-0248. I think the name of the president is Darain Atkinson but he may be in jail serving time for other offenses.
- Mike| 2 repliesThere is one redeeming quality of this SCAM. They are sending mail which should help support the post office. Junk mail is much better than junk phone calls.
- Hiral replies to Diannathank you for providing the information,
I have recieved the exact same mail stating this 2nd attempt
Dumb A****** did not want me to hang up and sign his policy right away and chaging me 3500.00 dollars for 49 months. It is like he is doing me a favor by negotiating with me and coming down to 2900.00
THIS COMPANY HAS FAKE WRITTEN ALL OVER IT
I told him I dont trust anything this coverage is offering. He said when you call back to sign up for this coverage it wont be available to you.
It is my freaking problem whether I lost this opportunity or not, thank you for your messege.
By doing some research on this comany, thre have been many filed complaints against this company to BBB Better Business Bureu - Mike-in-MD replies to MikeIt would be better for the USPS if they were able to charge the full first class postage rate but as you can see on the envelope they are getting charged for pre-sorted bulk mail which is substantially less than first class rates.
- Richard replies to La AmyIf you guys just concentrate a little bit, it is absolutely not difficult to declare it a spam. No need to waste
your time doing a research on the net.
1. The company has no real name (Vehicle administration center is not a popular business name)
2. Letter has got no address or name of the sending person or his/her organization.
3. Word "Toyota" or any other manufacturer, as the case may be is simply depicted there to give you
a wrong message that it is from "Toyota" or other manufacturers/dealers. Manufacturers and dealers have
their well known logo and insignia that goes on top of letters/messages.
Be careful, they are not just one. I receive letters from spammers with logo of my house mortgage company
on the envelope/letter. In worst case scenario call the actual dealer that sold you the car or your house mortgage company that financed your home for more clarification. NEVER RESPOND TO THE PHONE OR
E-MAIL ADDRESS GIVEN IN SUCH JUNK MAILS
