      I found these guys, they just called me today as well and when I picked up no one answered; and yes I was at work so that just makes it all that much more annoying. Here's their info for anyone who works close by and can give them hell...

          Thanks for this information.  

          I called Fido and they would do nothing, then I used your info and called SMT.  Well, they promised to take my phone off the list.  I also registered my phone on the 'National Do Not Call List'.

      Recieved the same number today July 28/07.  Do not call them back or send them a letter.  They will add your name and number to a list and sell that list to other telemarketing companies as well as junk mailers

      Just thought I would add something else.  If you want to stop unwanted calls, just tell them to have you removed from their national list.  This will not stop other telemarketers that already have your phone number, but it will eventually stop.

      If you google CRTC and then select telemarketers.  You can file a complaint on line. I did!  the more the merrier  Good luck!

        Contacting CRCT was a very good advice....I strongly recommend others to contact CRCT (Canadian federal organization) and report the abusive telemarketers.

      I received a number of calls all times of the day for the last 3 weeks. I called that 1 888 # and got my # put on a do not call list. She said it would be 24-48 hours. I'm on telus.. I think they got my # from rogers cable in london ontario..

      I have a brand new cell phone with FIDO.  I have no idea how these guys got my number.  They are so annoying.  I asked them multiple times to stop calling but they just don't get it.  I wish they would stop harassing me.

        I just got a call from these guys on my new cell from FIDO! I didn't pick it up... but they must have gotten the number from Fido... bastards.

          i recently changed over carriers to Fido, and KEPT my old number and since then i have been getting these calls as well.
          i guess we have come to the conclusion that Fido is selling their numbers...
          i would never think that the carrier would sink that low...
          it makes me mad
          especially since they call during the day

      I too am with Fido since less than a month and been harassed by those calls. I suggest everyone who reads this to file a complaint on the CRTC website http://www.crtc.gc.ca/ and also call your cell phone company and complaint there too. They obviously sold our number to that firm so let them know this is unacceptable.

      I got the call today. I've been thinking i should go to their office and scream every time i get a call from them and see how fast my complaint gets resolved. It's not like they can call the police or anything.

      I recieved this phone call today. The number was 1 800 336 1352. When I answered, not thinking of course. On the other end was this loud noise. Sounded like someone on the phone. With the window rolled down. No one answered. So I hung up. All I hope is that they didn't get any info from my phone number. And any info from me answering. All I had said was hello.

    It's a marketing company. It's called a lot in the past 2 weeks. When I answer, there is no one on the other end. It's very creepy and annoying. So, I called their 1-800 number (used *69), and there is a recording that says it's "S&T Direct" and that if you don't want to receive anymore of their calls, to send a letter to List Admin, 5255 Yonge St., 14th Floor, Toronto, M2N 6P4.  Lame!
