- DrowningSome rude sounding man left a message on my machine. Didn't so who he was or what company he was with or what it was in reference to. Just said in my best interests to call 800-337-6556. Sounded like a debt collector, but with all the scams I don't call anyone unless I know the company and the number.
- kk| 1 replyA recording stating that it is Mike Morgan with an important personal matter to discuss and if I want resolution to call 1-800-337-6556. Calls are coming in 3 times a day. Sounds like a scam.

Bud Says…
This organization generates a lot of complaints like this typical email:
“I am writing you concerning a company called National Enterprise Systems, Inc. They ended up calling me up at work and harassing me, I specifically asked them not to contact me there. Not even two minutes later they called my workplace again and asked to speak to my manager. I contacted the local authorities as they stated when they called my residence that they were “Federal Agents" and "I was in big trouble with the law". I thought that they were not allowed to call your place of employment if you asked them not to.
Yesterday they contacted my place of employment once again. I am fed
up with being harassed.”
A quick check on Pacer shows 108 lawsuits naming National Enterprise System, Inc. dating to 2002. The majority of complaints we receive are for harassment, contacting family, friends, calling employers, the usual standard violation of slimy collection organizations such as NES.
According to records we found on a search engine, NES Head Debt Collector Ernest R. Pollak and wife Ellen reside in Salon, OH and are easily accessible to consumers wishing to voice their complaints on the apparent illegal treatment he is allowing his debt collectors to practice.
I suggest anyone who thinks they have been treated unjustly or in a disgusting manner violating the law to contact Ernie the debt collector at:

If that fails to resolve your issue, whether it be harassing calls to your employer, family, etc, or his collectors posing as ‘federal agents’ as described above, we suggest you do the following:
1) Record all calls from NES collectors.
2) Contact us for referral to a local consumer law professional.
3) Contact us for referral to law enforcement for possible charges.
4) If that does not work and the harassment continues, we may pass along the home address for Ernie and Ellen in the hopes they may want to discuss your situation from their home, in the evening.

- DrewCUBICLE GANGSTERS
I recently worked at this horrible place. National Enterprise Systems is the collection agency from hell. It's the devil's worst nightmare. Employees are trained to collect according to the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act but once on the floor in their respective departments collectors are told to forget everything they learned.
My supervisor, Bryan Howard under the alias of Paul Stevens, regularly provided a second voice to collectors having trouble closing collections. This idiot would identify himself to callers as a federal agent, an NES attorney, etc., anything to try to scare the debtor into paying. He would actually tell debtors and their spouses that a lawsuit had been filed and if the account is not paid by postdated check by a certain time that day a deputy of the court was coming to serve the debtor on his job. I witness this on a daily basis all day long. B. Howard is neither a federal agent, attorney nor any of the other things he claims to be and NES don't sue debtors. All are clear violations of the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act.
Debtors are talked to as if they're inhuman. Even when the debtor is not home the person taking the message is treated like dirt. I will never forgot my supervisor shouting at an 81 year old African-American woman for not getting a pen and paper to take the message. "I DON'T CARE IF YOU ARE 81 YEARS OLD HE SCREAMED AT THE WOMAN." I've witness collectors hollering at kids "GO GET YOUR FATHER."
You are not supposed to talk to spouses—in certain states--about their significant others’ debt unless given permission by the spouse to do so. This rule is ignored at NES. In fact when I left training I put the document about the spouse rule on my cubicle wall to reference only to have it snatched and trashed by Bryan Howard who said I wouldn’t need it.
The owners Ernest Pollack, his wife, and two sons: Scott and pie-faced Chris are well aware of what is going on. These people are hands on owners. They constantly walk the call room floors, note the individual collectors and group collection sales and hear all the violations first hand. The more a collector screams at a debtor the more they like it. People actually clap and cheer when a collector goes off on a debtor. All that concerns these greedy money grabbers is how much money they are collecting at any given time.
Payments are demanded in full although they do offer settlements that are too demanded in full. Money orders and mail-in payments are not accepted, only postdated checks over-the-phone or Western Union Transfers for Citi Bank accounts. Some other creditors do allow NES to also take payment by credit card. For the postdated checks debtors are asked to give their accounting and routing numbers. NES, the scumbags they are, attempts to take the money out before the postdate. Nice company huh!
Collectors and supervisors once provided with bank info by the debtor call banks automated customer service numbers to obtain how much money they have in their accounts. We have their social security numbers so getting info this way is like taking candy from a baby. Some banks have safeguards against this and required you talk to a live person. They also work this wickedness on debtors’ credit card accounts or the credit card accounts of the debtors’ spouse, mother, father, etc. I remember one collector on the phone with a debtor saying “Your Mother Has $7,000 On Her Card She Can Use;” She Can Pay This Debt For You!”
If anyone needs someone who's "been there" in any of their legal actions against this despicable company I’m your guy.

- Wrong numberI received messages from NES on my answering for the past two days, looking for someone I've never heard of. They have the wrong number, yet keep leaving messages.
I finally called the number back (800-337-6556 x1018) to let them know they have the wrong number. A Mrs. Tallis asked me what my name was. I told her I didn't need to give her my name because I wasn't the person she was trying to reach. She nastily replied, "Now that you had to go and get smart, you're on hold" and put me on hold. I hung up and called back, and the same dialogue occurred. I hung up again, called back and got her voice mail. I left a message stating that I was giving her the courtesy of letting her know that she was calling an incorrect number but since she was so nasty and unprofessional, I wasn't going to give her the name of the person she was trying to reach in error.
I was so annoyed that I called back again and dialed 0 instead of her extension. I got another woman on the phone and told her that I was receiving harassing calls and it was a wrong number and she nastily said, "Why do you think they are harrassing?" I said it was because the person was nasty and I wasn't even the person they were trying to reach. She also asked if I'd thought the reason she asked for my name was because she wanted to address me properly. I said she didn't need to address me because I wasn't the person she was trying to reach. The woman hung up.
I kept calling back and got a woman named Jackie who apologized and assured me I wouldn't receive any more calls. She also said she had a record of the calls and would let Mrs. Tallis' supervisor know how I was treated.
Less than an hour later, I received another phone call from a man at NES. I asked him where he was calling from and he replied "NES". I asked him what kind of company that was and he replied "a law firm". How can they not get in trouble for defrauding people and impersonating themselves as a law firm? I started to explain that they had my number in error and he hung up.
I called back and he answered. I asked for Jackie. He asked for her last name and extension, which I didn't have. He hung up again.
I then called the police who said since I informed them that they had the wrong number, if they call again, it is harrassment and I can fill out a police report. They also suggested I call the phone company and have their calls traced, which I did.- Caller: National Enterprise Systems

- PegzLast week, I received a call from this debt collector at my work... I dont normally receive personal calls here at work, so I patched her through to my voicemail. Well she called back and asked for my HR person due to a Civil Class Action suit for me. Well, at this point I asked her what it was in regards to. She became very nasty and said I have until 9:30 that morning (it was 8:45 am) to pay in FULL the debt or it will be presented in front of the judge (me knowing full well I didnt receive paperwork from any courts). I told her I would have to figure out how to pay it. I know what my rights were so I didnt call back. She called me back at 9:20am and asked if I was able to pay it up. I told her I know what my rights are and not to call me at my work number, she told me they wont stop calling unless I write to Citibank to stop calls. I told her not to threaten me and her response was that it wasnt a threat, and that You (I) will see if I dont pay the full at that moment. I hung up. Well today I get another call, but this guy was persistant that I pay. He basically said the same thing about a court date on June 18th... Again, I received no paperwork. Well, I am sick of these harrassing calls so we worked out a plan I am able to pay. This company is just plain out rude and scary. I just dont want to have to deal with them anymore...
