Claimed to be from Suddenlink.  Trying to sell digital phone service.  Asked about my current phone provider and asked queried for interest in switching to suddenlink phone service.

Called 3 times tonight, picked up, then a recorded voice said "goodbye".

Called the number I gave to SuddenLink when I signed up for their service. A recorded voice said "goodbye" when I answered.

called my house twice in the past two days; the first time left a 3 second message with some bizarre singing, then the second time a 1 second call with a pronounced sigh.  If it's Suddenlink--you're disconnected.

This one has popped up several times.  This time, a recorded voice said "Good Bye"

I get calls off and on from this number, but I am usually at work and can't answer it.  When I try to call the number back it tells me it is an invalid number.

Calls during Monday - Saturday 2 or 3 times a day. Never leaves a message.

They always call during lunch. I never answer and they never leave a message. That's how you know it's not legit.

They have called twice in the last two days.  They do not leave a voice mail.

Calls from this # come in every day at varying times of the day or night. All I hear when I answer is a short buzz/static sound. No one responds when I say hello.

I receive calls from this # every day between 5:30 & 6:00 pm (sometimes twice a day).  Very annoying. I screen my calls so I let the machine answer everytime but there is never any talking.  Too bad we can't do something about these annoying calls.

Numerous calls call back--non working # answer and hang up

Number called my cellular at 1457, left no message.  Immidiate call back yeilded no information as the number would either not go through or would ring and go to "the number you are calling has been disconnected, changed, or is no longer in service".

Received call from this number , I didn't answer and they didn't leave message.

Suddenlink keeps calling, I just don't answer Unknown, or Any 800 numbers.

This number has called numerous times. First time answered nothing. 2nd time answered said hello nothing for a few seconds then a recording saying goodbye. third time answered this time said nothing but heard a live person then said hello. They asked to speak tot he person's name that was on our account and said they were from suddenlink and we qualified for phone service i answered no thank but were not interested and then they just hung up. Not sure if it really is from suddenlink by the way they just hung up but they did know the account holders name.

Received yet another call from this number.  Seems to be about once a week now!

This # 18003393579 keeps calling our phone #, day and evening, everyday.I have answered, but there is never a party on the other end to talk to. Most of the time I let it ring, but if I try to call the # back, I get a recording that says this # has been disconnected, hum. Stange there is no message left, or the caller won't identfy who they are. I am ready to file a law suit. This is annoying for sure. Why do people have to put up with this grap!!!!

Same thing as the rest of the folks complaining... they called, didn't respond immediately when I answered, then a voice said "goodbye" and hung up. Annoying. I am a suddenlink customer... but not much longer if this is how they treat customers!

Our office has been getting repeated calls from this number.  Tracked it down to an insurance processing center in Texas that works for University of Iowa
