missed call, left no message

Called and it was recording and Dan says called quickly about purple pills.

Called my phone rang for a second or two and turned up  as missed. called me twice. Called it back and sat on a musical recording for about 5 mins then hung up

I just googled this and found this page b/c I just got this number on my cell!  Let it ring and didn't answer; no message left...

called and hung up.. tried to call back and it was just music until it hung up

Called, did not answer,  Did not leave message on answer machine, hung up.

seond time it's called my cell. didn't answer either nor did it leave a message. never had a 800 number call my cell before and it kinda freaked me out.

Missed call. Left no message. I called back and there was just terrible music playing.

missed the call called bag straight to music. googled it a similar number is attached to ILD services. a company that charges money through your wireless company. ill be checkin into it tommorrow.

This number has called me twice. The first time I answered, but I didn't hear anything on the other end. The second time I ignored it.. no message.

Says phone service cox.

This # keeps calling my phone. I dont answer but i wish it would stop!

Called it back and its just some weird music

I was finally able to answer the phone when this mystery number called.  They said they were calling from Cox Cable offering internet/phone packages.  To stop them from calling register your number on the Do Not Call list by calling 888-382-1222 or clicking here https://www.donotcall.gov/

Call my cell phone 2-3 times per week - when I call back, I get annoying music for as long as I'm willing to hold, but never reached a person

I called it back and heard the music as well.  Nobody ever answered.  Again, just horrible music.  1-800-339-4518

call me twice a week, left no message, called back only music playing. If someone knows how to stop this # from calling me, please tell me. Thanks a lot.

calls and NEVER leaves a message

I have gotten calls from this number from time to time. Mostly, if it's a number that I do not recognize, especially an 800 or 888 type number I don't recognize, I simply don't answer, or I pick-up and then immediately hang-up again. Today, Friday 10 July 2009, I actually answered, and it was Cox Cable asking for me by my first name. While my last name is difficult to pronounce, they COULD at least ask for "MISTER Joe" rather than just "Joe"! I have BASIC Cable and high-speed internet with them already, and do not need anything more. My phone is a cellular phone and I'm happy being cellular only. Whenever I have to call customer service with them for this or that, I always tell them that. But every so often, they still try telemarketing to me, even though I have told them to STOP!

I called the main customer service number again, a different 888 number, wading through several levels of touch-tone menus, and finally got to a live person, and told them to STOP telemarketing me. I'm happy with the existing services and plans I have with Cox (Basic-only Cable and high-speed internet, and that my phone service is cellular only with AT&T.

They said that they would (again) flag the account as NO telemarketing. Let's see if it "takes"! I wonder if the 800-339-4518 number that calls me is some subcontracted telemarketing company that Cox is using.

I *AM* on the Federal Trade Commission "Do Not Call" List, but if you have a previous business arrangement with someone like Cox or the phone company, they are exempt from that, unless you specify with them to NOT call you!

keeps calling (10 times at least, over the past few weeks), when answered: nothing
