This is the customer service number for the LA DWP Solar division.

Missed the call; no message was left.

Caller ID "UNAVAILABLE".  I'm in California, but not in LA DWP district.  Did not leave a message.  I think it is a scam/telemarketer call.

I think if this is a legitimate number (LA DWP), they would leave a message.  My water department is not LA DWP.  Therefore, I think these are solar scammers using a legitimate phone number.  Many of us who use this site have seen this done before.  These criminals can spoof any number they choose.  I received a call, did not answer, and no message was left.  BLOCKED!!!!  Caller ID said "Unavailable".  Good.  They can remain unavailable!!!!!!

Called twice this week.  The cid showed "toll free calle" and phone number 800-342-5397.  No message left with either call.

The phone number is a legit LADWP customer service number, but I think the caller is fake.  If the caller were legit, a message would have been left with the first call and there would have been no second call.  The real LADWP can barely handle their billing system much less call people twice in one week and not leave a message as to what the issue is.

I experienced a power failure in my neighborhood and reported the blown transformer to LADWP. I asked them to call me back when they had an estimated repair time. This was their call back to tell me it was fixed.

I think they are stupid for not having a proper CNAM, it only said toll free number, and many people would never answer such a call. For me, the call was a ligit one.

Agree that the call is a scam. I am not a customer of LADWP, and the call was to my cellphone.

Called twice in a row. I don't trust anyone anymore due to a previous scam so I didn't answer. No message was left either time so I believe it's a scam.

What annoying scums...  Whether this number is spoofed or not, this number called twice in a row and left no message. Blocked!

No message left. Not in LA DWP area. Number now blocked.

So, not even 20 minutes later, the same number calls & the Caller ID, instead of the random #'s, is now TOLL FREE CALL? Just screams SCAM!!!!

I got calls yesterday and just now. Yesterday was a spoofed number from a SD Power Company and today was from DWP in L.A. Neither is my electricity carrier. This guy had no foreign accent which is even more frightening that he could possibly scam someone more Gullible.

Got call; didn't pick up.

Two missed call within 5 seconds.  Both times phone range once and call ended.  Caller ID shows the number but "UNKNOWN" written under it. I am not a customer of LA water and Power so most likely a spoof call from someone who can't get real job or has an IQ closer to sub-Saharan Africa numbers.

Robocall. "This is not a sales call. You have opportunities for saving energy...(blah) (blah) (blah)." Hung up and blocked. (It's a sales call, hoss.)

Called cell 10:41 a.m. PST 4/3/17.  Left no message.  After a Google search, number comes up as Customer Service but why not leave a message then?
