Harassing, unidentified company

This guy called,said his name was Phil Grant, and he was calling regarding my in-law's property.  Said that he thought the owner was a Myers, but the tax record reflected a different name.  He seemed pleasant when we called him back, but he didn't realize that the Myers had lied.  They don't own the property, my in-laws do.

WHO is this dude... sounds like he is working from his house.  Called and scared my elderly neighbors.

I rec'd a call from "Phil Grant" too. He was calling about a rental property I own, and described a student renting the house. He said he thought the student was the owner of the house, but when he called the tax office to find out, he got directed to me, and wanted me to call him back. The caller ID number just rings and rings, and the 1-800 number gets you to a message with a woman's voice and no business name. I did not leave a message, I'm concerned this is a scam.

This phil grant called me from 732-643-6010 and gave me the 800# for call back . He was looking for someone who had nothing to do with me but he had my address and phone # - creepy.

I got a call from "Phil Grant" today. He left a massage saying he was looking for a guy named Joe Dunleavy (in his 40's) and was calling about a rental property.  Said he looked up my address and phone number from the local library.  Very creepy how the library gives out phone numbers and addresses easily.  When I called him back, he said thanks but asked if I was sure.  I told him I was pretty sure I was not the guy.  I almost said "yes" I am Joe and "what do you want?"

Definately a scam!!!!

Multiple hang ups from this number on May 25 2010, they are breathing, but don't say anything.

Phil Grant Called me from (800)343-1721 to find out information about a former tenant. Said he was a collection agent working on an outstanding gas bill for New Jersey Natural Gas.

I got a call from him this afternoon, said he was Phil Grant, the message said something about trying to mail a letter to a guy named Joe something.  Not my name.  He sounded very strange, I wont be calling him.

Called our house twice in the last year, once for my parents who live far from here, second for someone with a similar name......likely a collections bounty hunter!!

These people are liars and probably a collection agency or skip tracer.
Just tell them off (if they are smartass's (which "Mr. Grant" was when he left a message) and tell them not to call U anymore.

This jerk called me looking 5-31-2012 for somone that isnt. here. I told him dont call here anymore. Phill Grant called 732-643-6010.. left a call back num 1-800-343-1721. tell him where to go.

This guy just called my cell phone number and after we hung up called my work phone number! Refused to tell me how he got BOTH of my numbers. Said he had business with a Doug Keller whom I told him I don't know. Refused to tell me what business he was working for just kept saying Phil Grant, that's my business and I have business with Doug Grant. Told him I found it strange that he got my cell AND my work number and said who know he probably called information and asked for Doug and they gave my info which I find a lie because WORK number is not listed under MY name. Reporting this guy for sure.

I got a call from a Phil Grant as well from this exact number.  He named the people I roomed with back in 2009 for one summer and said we owed 700$ on a Natural Gas Bill.  Had wrong information of when I lived there and said it would affect my credit score.  However, there were never any past bill notices from the gas company itself to us regarding this mysterious 700$ that was owed..  This guy is full of [***]. Block the number and ignore his threats.

The company calling is Atlantic Advisors located at 710 Mattison Avenue Asbury Park, NJ. They are a collection agency. The 732-643-6010 # is also for them.  I believe they also use fictitious names which I believe are not allowed by the laws of the FDCPA. Ask them for there legal name.

We have gotten numerous phone calls starting at the beginning of this month.  We have not returned any of the calls....messages had a wierd "ring" to them.  The number of calls are increasing...since last evening we have received three.  Same caller (Phil Grant) .  Caller ID is 732-643-6010. The call back number he gives is 1-800-343-1721

He Called Me Saying That My Dad Who Passed 3 Years Ago Owed Money On. A gas Bill

This guy called my house 3 years to the day that my father passed away.  I did not return his call because I read the fishy reviews this guy has gotten.

"Phil Grant" called our local municipality looking for a death certificate for a woman. He had 2 different addresses and a date of death. Upon questioning him, regarding his relationship to her he said he wasn't related. Of course he CANNOT get any info. regarding anyone unless they are directly related and have I.D. & other papers to prove that. We cannot give any info. over the phone because there is no way to prove relationship unless the papers are "in hand." I looked up the woman after getting off the phone and she did not die in my town anyway.
