Have gotten two calls in the last few days. They do not leave a voicemail.

1 of many spam calls received after replying to a condo on Craigslist.
I called back the number and a voice mail system answered stating that it was IP company.

I keep getting phone calls from this number... no message. I've called back twice and a phone system answers. I'm over it... blocking it now. I've gotten 12 or so phone calls in the last 4 days!!!

I keep getting calls from them too. They always call around 8pm and never leave a message. I did find this link http://www.consumerhelpunit.org/ which takes you to NCO Financial where you can enter information to stop them from calling you. The number comes up as NCO Financial. There are two other numbers listed for them 1-866-789-8808 and 1-800-709-8676 to call them and complain about the calls. They have a form to fill out if they are contacting the wrong person. Hope this information helps.

So, I was looking up a phone number that has been calling me. 866-870-8316. A different site's comments indicated it was NCO Financial. Msgs they leave say the same. They call a good bit, but when I try to call back, I get nothing. While looking at the comments on that site, I saw an ad on the page that says "STOP NCO FINANCIAL. Stop the collection calls from NCO Group - Call Today 866-789-8808 or 800-345-6545". So, they want you to call another part of NCO to stop calls your getting from NCO? Genius.

Allstate rep to try to schedule appointment with my agent

Just yesterday, (10-05-11) received call from this number, claiming to be working for my insurance agent.
Very amateurish attempt to sound like a real call center, ("this call may be recorded for training purposes") clown was reading verbatim from a script and could not even pronounce the agent's name properly. Probably a phishing attempt, maybe connected with the car dealership where I had my truck serviced last Saturday. (Insurance card in glove box, could be used to create fake insurance renewal bill with different P.O. box near real insurance office.)
Call your agent directly and if it is just a sales call complain LOUDLY!
My call was received about 10:00 a.m. DURING WORK!

Just got a call. Wanted to schedule an appointment with my Allstate agent. Couldn't even pronounce the city where my actual insurance is located. 10:00am pcf time call.

Repeated calls, no messages. I don't answer 800 calls, if it's important they'll leave a message with a return number. I'm also with Allstate insurance, btw.

no me3ssage left.I called back got a recorded message saying call wason behalf of my Allstate Insurance agent thanking me for my business and asking me to call my agent to review my coverage.

I suspect that it is Allstate, but maybe an intermediary that is contracted for other purposes too. I use Allstate for Auto and have a life ins policy that is converting soon that they want me to continue / upgrade.

Said she was calling on behalf of Nancy Norman, an Allstate agent.  Butchered my name, and called at 7:30 pm...well past business hours.  When my actual agent calls, it's within business hours.

have no idea who this is, this is the first time I have gotten a call from this number.I blocked it. I also see that several people are saying it is Allstate. I do have policies with them, but my usual contact is by email. I will ask them if this is a legitimate call.
