Progressive Finanacial Services - and I'm not even the person they keep asking for.  I tell them and they promise to stop, but it starts again in a couple of weeks.

I receive at least one call a day, sometimes two a day.  They speak, but it is very garbled.  I do not know them nor do I want to speak to them.  They leave a msg on my voice mail which is also garbled and isn't clear to know what they are saying.  Of course, _I_ have to pay for charges on my voice mail when I answer it and I am not one bit happy about this.  Please stop these calls.

This is Progressive Financial Services - A Collection Company.  If you are not the party they are seeking, you can tell a collection company that if they continue to call, you are going to file a criminal harassment complaint with the police. It is a crime to harass people via telephone communications, when asked to stop--regardless of whether they have legitimate business with you, or not! Fight back people!

Called twice so far to my knowledge.  Yesterday when I was on the phone with my daughter on our cell phones the call came in on the landline. Very annoying.  

Today around the same time 11:15 a.m.  The phone read "Service number" nothing else plus number.  
A woman was on the phone sounded recorded but I couldn't get to the phone in time to really hear anything.  I was busy.  It rang several times.  No message.  I am going to block this number off with call block.  ugh.  :(    These debt collection agencies should be illegal.

I'm glad I found this . Get this....my mother-in-law just called saying this number called her and asked for my son....she is 90yrs old...she asked who they were they wouldn't say. She lives alone and it scared her, she asked where they got her number & they said "we have our ways"....Really!!  I know that when I search for my name on internet it brings up everything where I live, my phone #'s, name of my husband, name of my boys, name of my grandkids, name of their mothers, name of mother-in-law etc.  All this information is there and free to who ever knows how to look---to me that is a crime and you can't stop it!!!

They keep calling me despite the fact that I have informed them that there is no Hector Gonzalez at my number and to try Mexico as he probably ran up bills before he ran back over the border. I am in Az and there is so much identity theft and a huge illegal problem despite Janet Napolitano saying our borders are safe. What a joke....she couldn't handle Az as the governor but we are going to put her in charge of the country?

Receiving 2-3 calls a day from them -no name when they say who they are calling for. Have called their number 800-347-1631 to report and cancel calls -they (Jeremy) hung up on me! Now I get a recording that "all  circuits are busy please try your call later."

I just let it go to VM then delete. I figure it's costing them money and providing job security for a lot of people in the Communications Industry

Gotta love this one.... Called looking for someone else. Asked for them to stop calling.  They continued. Spoke with a Mr Jose Hernandz, he admitted that I was not the correct party they were trying to reach AND I was taken off the call list but he called anyway.  I informed him that is harassment and reported the number.  Suddenly the calls have ceased

My mom received a call from 1-800-347-1631..she is 83, they ask for me, now i havent lived or given my moms number out EVER! in the past 20 plus years, I wish they would stop!

Started getting the calls 2 days ago. I called and the first thing they asked.. for my ss#. I told them I don't just give it out over the phone and asked who they were calling. They asked my name and I wouldn't give it. They asked for my phone number, which I did give them as they had it already. I again asked for the name of the person they were trying to contact, I did not recognize the name and told the person that. I'll wait and see if they keep calling. If so, I will definitely report it.

They've started calling me again looking for someone who used to live 2 streets over (who unfortunately had the same street address number as me.) I've called them back numerous times to have them stop but that doesn't work. Left a complaint with the BBB - nothing happened. So now I call them and leave the phone by the tv speaker for about 15 minutes twice a night. I figure they're getting charged for the 800 number as well and the cents per minute inbound.

This number calls at least three times a week seeking, in a fake British accent, an "Anthony James Hardymon".  I always hang up but sometimes there are messages when I've been away, instructing me to "press 1 if you are not..." but of course I haven't done that, either.    The robocall announces that it is an attempt to collect a debt.  I suppose that is how they hope to get around the "do not call" laws.  I have no idea who this person or company is. Can somebody make them stop?

Same MO for me - very garbled robotic messages 2-3 x's/day on my cell, initially asking for a Hispanic name that's really hard to understand and that if I'm not that person to call to let them know - then if I remain on the line I am confirming that I'm that person.  I almost called them to indicate that - then my husband started getting the same exact calls on his cell, and they're looking for the same "person"!  So I'm not going to call back.

These people call every day around noon. It is a recorded message for a Bobby someone and if I am not that person to hang up. Of course I hang up, it is not for me.  I usually let my phone ring as I don't answer 800 numbers, or unknown caller numbers, then I have to mess around getting all their calls deleted from my answering machine!!  I am sick of this, I have had this telephone number for over 5 years, I do not owe ANYONE any kind of money.  Where did they get this number and why do they keep calling?  I would like to sue them and get paid for some of the time I have spent o their calls!!

Calls every morning about 8:15 and then again about an hour and a half later.  Answered once and no one answered me back so I waited a bit and then hung up.  I am disabled and have a hard time sleeping at night so this call wakes me up every morning!!!  I think I will unplug the phone in my bedroom!!
