A lady called our office phone with an auto-dialer, waited a long moment to pick up, then began asking for an employee.  She butchered his name so badly that only my frequent experience with badly mispronounced names allowed me even to find the correct person to ask about this.

Of course she would not leave a message or explain who she was.  It turns out that she is with a collections agency, and she was calling the work phone numbers for relatives of the person from whom she was trying to collect!

They have called me 3 times today at my houss asking for on in my family but they never said who they were

Discover card. my dad got several calls but they did not come from this number. They left a voice mail to call this number. Someone must have used his phone number when getting a card and now is not paying. They said they would delete it from thei call list. We'll see.

Someone just left a message to call this number.  Message was was not addressed to a specific person.  No mention of who was calling or the reason.

Called several times, same automated message.  "This is Brandy, it's important that you return this call at 1-800-347-3117".  I haven't called back, won't call back

Called & left automated number to call. Chopped up my name in message.. called more than once & then called me at my workplace. Hung up on the rep becuz it's the only line for work &she wasn't understanding that it was a bad time to try to collect back payment at a food establishment at 4 in the afternoon.
