This Message was left on my Voicemail in Huntsville AL:

So congratulations(?) it would be in your best interest to give us a call back at the prize claim Center toll free at 18003474550. Again that's 18003474550. To claim your prize. Once again congratulations and let's make it a great day. To claim your price. Plus-one.....

Received a similar message on Jan 28 except caller's name wasn't stated and she said that you have won twenty five thousand dollars in a sweepstakes. After that a young sounding male got on the line and said "press one to claim your prize or 2 to enable do not call".

I just got the same call except her name was Brittany Monroe and the prize center is in Dallas.  More [***].

I have registered our numbers in the Do not call registry, yet we continue to get these kinds of calls! How is this happening?

It happens because scammers and others ignore the DNC list.  They also attempt to use loopholes such as surveys and prize giveaways to circumvent the law.  Most of these so called prize giveaways are fronts to get you to attend a high pressure sales seminar for timeshares, travel clubs, etc.  Others are an out and out scam to get you to send them money so they can "deliver" your prize. If it sounds too good to be true, it is.

Just got the same call from Britney, this time in Dallas.  Very doubtful that there is really a prize out there.

I got a call from this number.  They told me I had been randomly selected in a drawing for some home builders association or something in Huntsville.  They said I was a finalist for a prize.  They put me on hold twice.  A lady said this was "Best Buy."  They asked me to verify my age range and that I made $50,000 or more a year.  When I said I did not make that amount, they said I was ineligible.

Just got a call from this number saying I had won a prize from DPS and to either call the number back later or stay on the line to claim my prize.  I wrote the number down, but do not plan to call back.

Nothing but a scam. The gentleman called from direct buy saying I have won 25,000 home makeover. Please help the unfortunate who are being called every day with this nonsense...Money and personal information  are being solicited... This is so very sad.........

Called my number stating my entry had been selected.... I have not entered anything.

Just got the same message on my voicemail in Huntsville, AL.  Caller was Trudy Young.  I guess Brittany's voice finally gave out.

Just got this call saying I had won house makeover in New Orleans, and it would be in my "best interest" to call back.  These kinds of calls are getting more numerous, and yes, I am on the "do not call" list.

They must be calling all of Huntsville, AL....I just got the same call???

We need to report them since they are ignoring the Do Not Call list. They might get fined.

got a call from Brittany Monroe at 1-800-817-7420, from Ala. won a ford explorer, would be in my best interest to call the number back to get my prize.

Received a cheerful call today saying I was a winner in the $25,000 home inmprovement makeover by local (Huntsville) whatever. Would be nice. The number was 1-800-347 -4550. When I called back it was a prize center. It's called before.

I just got the same call today with a girl named "Brittany" saying I won $25,000 for a home improvement makeover in San Antonio. Left me a message with a number which was also 800-347-4550. Didn't call back cause I haven't entered in anything. She also said "Once again congratulations and let's make it a great day!" Sounds like a total scammer to me!!
