- zeta| 1 replythese calls are coming from Citibank. they are very annoying. I recommend calling them telling them to stop calling or you will report them to the police. the police will give you a case number so you can then report them to you phone company. then If they don't stop follow thru. Also anyone who has the money should start a class action lawsuit. that would get their attention.

- RCPlease be careful everyone! When I call that number back, it immediately asks me to punch in my social security number. That is a big no-no and I think it's a scam. I never get a call with a recording asking immediately for that info. Be wary!
- Caller: Citibank
- LJust got this number showing up on my WORK phone. No message left.
I have a Citibank account, but usually their numbers are clearly labeled on the caller ID. I'm surprised this wasn't.- Caller: Unknown

- Me| 1 replyUPDATE: Call them back - enter 1234 for the LAST FOUR DIGITS of social (which it will not accept) get kicked to a real person and get your number removed/changed!!!
In my case the number was for a business' mortgage account, and apparently entered either by accident or as a fake number in the account by the business in default (or could have been their real phone number 20 years or more ago). Not a telemarketer or scam; real mortgage company.
Lady I spoke with removed my number within about 3 or 4 minutes on the phone in a VERY nice, polite manner (replaced my phone number with all zeros 000-000-0000 so it can't call back again without someone - the person who owns the business - intentionally telling them my number).
Even added a note in the account that a fake number had been entered for a home address, just in case the owner of the account DOES give my number again, so it can be removed quickly if the calls start again.- Caller: CitiMortgage
- Call type: Debt collector
- BC| 1 replyIt's citi mortgage they are trying to get you to pay the past due amount or do a repayment plan. If they are calling you I highly recommend you call them directly. They have options that can help you. I waited a long time to call them everything was ok once i did that.

- Sue Ann replies to speeter| 20 repliesDue unexpected medical bills I have tried 3 times with Citi Mortgage to qualify for an extension plan - I was told that I qualified and then 3 weeks later I get a letter saying I did not qualify. Does not make any sense since our regular income has been greatly reduced because instead of 2 incomes we now only have one. Obama tells us that he is here to help with our mortgage difficulties. This is not the case. There is no help group persay with Citi Mortgage, believe me I have tried and all to no avail. They have different people calling all the time and no one knows what the other person is doing because you have to repeat the same information to half a dozen different people. We dont have much left to pay and because they won't make much money off us they won't refinance. We would be better off to try and figure out how to pay this off and never have anything more to do with Citi Mortgage. I am looking into many avenues but it is not with Citimortgage.
