- D.D. (Palm Beach Gdns, FL) replies to Thomas| 1 replyI just received a call from this number (1:32 pm, 6/10/14), and the man continued to try to ask me medical questions about my "pain" history. I knew it was not only a solicitation call to someone on the DNC list, but that they were spoofing a number, a fraud, and perhaps most concerning to me, prying into people's confidential medical information. So I tried my best to just ask "please, can you first tell me what your company is, who is this calling...." to try to get a lead. This scammer got so upset that I would dare try to ask HIM any questions, really had a style to make you feel like you were the intrusive one and violating HIM, rather than the other way around. What a smooth talker. As I continued politely to say I first wanted to know who I was talking with, he got louder and louder in just repeating "Ma'am!" "Ma'am!", trying to twist it back on me to answer his questions. He finally hung up on me. Someone stop these criminals.
- robo calls are evilScam healthcare cream robot call. Caller id displays custom healthcare but google search rents number as a wells Fargo advantage investing contact info. They seem to be spoofing a wells Fargo number and their scam generic healthcare name on caller id.

- WayneAsked if I was suffering from chronic pain. If so, push "1." I pushed "1" and the line went dead. This is the type of chronic pain I suffer from. Wells Fargo is a good company and I hope they catch this garbage.

- JLT77Got a call this afternoon at 12:59 PM about chronic pain. I imagine some some outfit trying to peddle a wonderdrug for pain relief. It told me if to press 1 if yes, that I or another struggles with chronic pain or press 2 if no. While I don't suffer from chronic pain, I pressed 1 in hopes of telling a human or robot to stop calling, but all I heard was some ringing and a hangup.
I later got a call from supposedly a Florida number, 305-368-8617. Notice how this number and the 800 number both have a 368 prefix.- Caller: Toll Free Caller

- BoldBearIt's unfortunate that this is the number of a legitimate business being spoofed by a con artist. I'm now getting calls a few digits off of my home phone number. I'll put this number on my block list along with those others. I'm also wondering if I should cycle through numbers on my block list knowing that the con artists use a number and abandon it once the numbers start going up on block lists. We need to do something through national law to add a trusted number flag on caller ID. If you do one thing to solve the problem, the con artists will figure out ways around it, but something should be done. It just shouldn't be as easy as punching numbers in on your cell phone to have it spoof a caller ID.

- Libby HRobo call about chronic pain, searching for Medicare info under the guise of being a chronic pain agency. At least three times a day received calls the last week or so. But I find it interesting these started with my recent hospitalization and return to home.

- Voices replies to D.D. (Palm Beach Gdns, FL)Forget the government and their lame "do not call list". That whole department is just another government "made up job" that has NO power to pick snot off of chair bottoms.
Just hang up and hope they get hit by lightning. - Charles replies to ThomasI have gotten 29 calls from the Chronic Pain Association over the last 6 days. It is a scam - don't talk to the person who comes on the line and do not press 1 or 5. And yes, I am on the so called "no call" list which apparently do not work.
- Unhappy| 1 replyI continuously get calls from a company regarding a chronic pain cream. I finally acted like I was going to order, and then requested them to remove my name from the call list. I asked the person what the name of the company was, and she (Amber) told me that it was a company called "American Health Advisors". The # on my caller ID was 541 257-1407.

I sometimes like to mess with these folks, like the dudes from "Windows Support" who call about my PC having a problem (my favorite) and the "lower my credit card interest". I get them on the phone, then YELL AT THE TOP OF MY LUNGS to stop calling me or call them idiots. I am thinking of getting a whistle to blow into the phone.- Caller: American Health Advisors

If I could get my hands on these [***] - and Rachael from Card Holder Services and the other scam out there about some Health alert system (I've fallen and can't get up kind of thing). I'd tie them up and shove phones up their [***] until they exploded and died. No wait make that pineapples.

- Al replies to ThomasI am getting calls daily and always request to be placed on do not call list. I am on the do not call registry and it is impossible to block the number since it is always a different phone number. I am going to file a formal complaint with the NYS attorney generals office....this is truly unbelievable. Of course if you try to call them back after it states that number is not in service.
