got a call from this number and does not leave a message, stays on the line and hangs up.

Noise on line and no answer

rings, I answer, no one there.

keep getting these calls and no one says anything. its annoying stop calling. it is time verizon and all of the other phone companies be held liable to the customers for all of these annoying call.

800-379-5675 called today at 9:28 a.m.  Automated call and hang up.
Called number back and a recording said it was the information line for the Maryland Chiefs of Police Association, Inc. sorry we missed you...

When the 800# appears call 800-379-5694.  Then press 9# to be removed from the list.

Pleasantly answered the phone. Caller asked to speak to my boss, by his first name. As often is the case, my boss was out of the office, so I offered to take a message for him. Caller seemed agreeable and said "Yes, Brian" *click*. At least he stopped wasting my time quickly, though if that's going to be your response, don't bother calling in the first place.

This person called twice the first time they hung up but the second time he called and said he wanted to speak with the owner of the company i worked for when i asked his name he said Jermey Stein for the Maryland Chief of Police Associaton.  I call the Police Assciation and they never heard of this person

This number has called 3x this week.  Always noise on the line, never anyone speaks.
