DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER BACK! Showed up as a $200 per minute LD phone call on my phone bill!!!!!!!

Just had a call from this number.. I  ignored it.  .. I am glad I did after reading this .  These people should be charged.

I, too, received a call but was out and about so I did not answer.  So much for the federal telemarketing DO NOT CALL LIST!!!!

Need to know who belongs to this number, and where are they? I wont be calling them back.

Called at 9:17 in the evening.  Very late to be calling, rather against the laws.  They did not leave a message.

says thet are collecting for canadian asso of fire chiefs then asks for bank debit and or credit card to make a donation.

just received the same call and scam attempt, they hung up when i stopped them and said no i wasn't interested.

They called tonight around 8:30. Wouldn't have answered except I was expecting another call. Long pause after I asked what the call was about. Hung up.

Called the number back and got a message about them being the canadian asso of fire chiefs.  The message had a number to contact them at: 800-382-3702

They should be charged by the law

I also got dead air and then *69 this call. I will NOT call them back. Makes me VERY ANGRY.

I just received a call from the number and was told they are raising money through the Association of Fire Chiefs for volunteer fire depts and to assist the firefighters involved in volunteer positions. Was very hard to understand as he was talking very very fast. When I told him I was involved with the local volunteer fire dept in the town he started to mumble and backtrack and then hung up......... Will be talking to my chef at next practice regarding this.

Getting this call repeatedly, weekends and evenings. Not answering it. When you answer I think even giving a negative response opens your number to more calls.:(

I DO NOT ANSWER any  800, 866, 877, etc., numbers. I only answer 'regular' long distant numbers if I recognize the number and/or 'name'. I only answer local calls if the 'name' is displayed with the number. If they really want to talk to me they'll leave a message. I think it would be a good idea for everyone to STOP ANSWERING these 800, 866, 877, etc., numbers. Then they'll stop using the phone system to deceive people.
