    Update..
Just called this number 800-383-2132,  back told them that they have the wrong person because the soc.Sec. Num they gave me on the phone was not mine.. I asked them who and what is the name of this company and or firm. Mr walkers assistant stated it is called asg. And they are a financial aid company, i have never herd of a financial aid company with a civil litigation department??? ,they stated to me also that since i told them that i do not verify personal info over the phone, and that the soc.Sec num they gave was not connected to me, that they were going to remove me from their call list, and apologized for any miscommunications. I told them that when i get calls like this i go over to my local sheriffs deputy's and he runs these numbers to check them out to see if they are scams or legit. The clown on the other end of the phone did not like hearing that but to damn bad,, again if you get a call from a number 800-383-2132 tell the person on the other end of the phone line that the jig-is-up, and you are turning them over to the ftc, law-enforcement, and you states att, gen, office.

I just received a voicemail from this phone #.   I called my local law enforcement and they advised to never provide any information about yourself to these people. They may ask to verify your Date of Birth or Social, but dont. Dont give your address either. It is a scam and all they are looking for is that missing piece of information so that they can hack your identity.  If you  received a call from this #, it is a scam. The name of the person who called me was apparently David Epstein. He does not sound foreign at all.   The law enforcement in my town said that 1.  if a company was collecting money from you and were going to serve papers they would not give you notice that they were coming.  2. The company themselves cannot get an arrest warrant unless you failed to appear in court for the matter.   So if you ever get a call of someone threatening to show up with uniformed officers, call your local police and they can run your name to see if they have any papers to serve you.  I was also told that it is a safe idea to call your local bank and ask them to flag your account for any suspicious activities as you may have been hacked. This way if anything happens,.... you are made aware right away by the bank. And most certainly if you get a call from this # call your local police to report the fraudelent calls. This is the only way to stop them. It is a numbers game for these people....they calls hundreds of people a day, and get lucky every so often with the people that actually believe them.

Also received a call from Brian O'Connor who did not ask for anyone by name or ID his company.Just made threats.  I did call back and was told that O'Connor was in court. They tried to pry personal info from me, which I did not give them (smarter than them). Be aware of these scammers and provide them with nothing.

Brian O'Conner just left me a voice mail.  Said that if I don't call them, that within 48 hours he will be at my house with a uniformed officer for his protection to serve me.   Said he worked for Legal Support Services.

I answered the phone and they guy said he was Wm Steinberg. That's different from the given to others here. He did begin to give this lame threat of coming to my home and/or  job, but I just hung up.

I got a message that someone would be coming to my house with a uniformed officer within 48 hours and that I was to secure all pets and firearms in my house. He then proceeded to say things about a civil case against me, and that I needed to call regarding my case number. I did call the number out of curiosity and got the voicemail of a David Esptein. He said he was away or in session and to leave a message with my name--clearly, and file number. Props to Jennifer for the detailed tips on this one.

Got the same call from "Brian O'Connor" at 800-383-2132. They gave the spiel about having a uniformed officer and to secure my pets and firearms as well. These people have been harassing and threatening my entire family for years now. It's embarrassing and unnerving.

He identified himself as Brian O'Connell.  That is hilarious. That is the character Paul Walker played in the Fast and Furious series.  I've received calls from these scammers too.

Looks like this scam has begun again. Rec’d threatening/intimidating call from a Brian O’Conner told to call 480-571-5560 due to a “notice of intent” from Maricopa County with a pending claim and stated last 4 of social... Gave a docket # to reference that ended in .us... Bogus don’t give them your info!
