They call my friend 3 - 4 times a day. Never leave a message. Sometimes as late as 11pm. I decided to check who is calling. If someone has information on the caller, please let me know.

I've received two calls from this number already this morning - no message.  Calls alternate with an Atlanta number: 404-397-6698.  A reverse look-up of this number, and numbers 404-397-6690 and 404-397-6000 come up empty.  I have not answered the calls, so don't know who the caller is.

I answered a call from this number.  They said they were calling for Habitat for Humanity.  I said I don't give money to phone callers and asked them to take me off their call list, as well as some other choice words.  

Shortly after reading Sue's entry, I had another call from tis number. This time they represented the Sierra Club. I explained to the caller that I don't support phone solicitations and asked to be removed from the list. He agreed to take care of it, but that I may still get another call before the list is updated.
They seem to represent a number of progressive organisations, which I support anyway. This is much cheaper than sending out tons of solicitations, and raising more funds for worthwhile causes.
    Based on this experience, I may actually answer the phone and explain in a civilized way that I would like to 'opt out' and request to be removed from the list (but will monitor the calls to be sure that they actually stop.

I also receive at the very least 3 to 4 calls a day from this number and they never leave a message.  I am on the National Do Not Call list.  Can they still call if they are a non-profit organization?  

I called the 800 number at a time I thought I would get the answering service. The message said this was "Outreach Associates" and they call on behalf of non-profit organizations. There was a reminder on the voice message that non-profits are exempt from the do mot call list. If you want to call this number, they do not have caller id.

We receive calls from this number 2-3 times a day--morning, noon and late night--sometimes as late as 11 p.m.  We go to bed early because we have to get up early for our jobs in the morning. It is very inconsiderate to call that late at night.  If this company is representing Nonprofit groups and expect people to donate money, harrassing people with frequent calls is the worst way to go about it.  It's just plain annoying and frustrating to keep getting these calls and not be able to do anything about it.  We found out that they are exempt from the DO NOT CALL list.  :(

I get calls from this 800 number all day long.  They never leave a message, which to me is very sketchy.  I called the number back yesterday and they said they represent nonprofit groups.  I said why are you calling me then, because I don't give a "sh...!" about nonprofit groups and I don't give money to scammers!  They hung up on me, then call back an hour later and didn't leave a message.  I checked my messages when I got home just now and see that they call 2x today.  What's up with this?  

I get a call with no one on the line.  We are on the no call list and shouldn't be getting calls anyway....don't know who the caller is.

I get dead air - but not a dial tone - when I answer and hold onto the line.

Stop calling me.

I get 3-4 calls a day from this number. When I answer the call, I get dead air, so I hang up. When I call the number, it rings, and I get no answer. I'm on the DoNotCall list.

While I support many worthwhile causes, this really starts to feel like pure telemarketing harrassment. Is there any way to block these calls, or add non-profit groups to the National DoNotCall list??
