I am being harassed by these people, Actually I thought they were the yellow pages but then I find out they are yellow media. They claim I agreed to a verbal contract. I am extremely confused and would like some help with this please Karen Marino

IT'S A SCAM!!! Don't fall for it!! I got an invoice in the mail from this company a month or so ago. I didn't pay it cause I didn't remember ever requesting it. Then about a month later I got an invoice from a similar company with the same exact logo. Though that was weird since once again I didn't recognize it. Then we started getting a harassing call from a guy from yet a similar type company. None of it made sense. He mentioned that I had paid them last year and this was our renewal. I went and pulled our invoices from last year because I vaguely remembered something like what he was talking about. And sure enough I found the invoice and remembered the situation. But get this-it was yet a 4th company name. He basically busted himself right there. And I had remembered that the only reason I ended up paying is because when I claimed I had never authorized the purchase, he played back a verbal agreement that was indeed my voice. I was confused but figured somehow I had forgotten. Well, when this happened again today and we realized that he had made a 'mistake' in confirming that he was using a diff name yet same person, we googled his name and the company phone number. And basically I learned that they call and record different conversations, and then edit it to make a recording supposedly agreeing to payment. I felt sick realizing I had been scammed into $650 last year. But I sure as heck am not doing it again. He will threaten to call the credit agency and that he has proof. Tell him you found out he is a con artist and he better not call you again. Good luck!!

This is one number of 4 that I have that is connected to the same person and that I have concluded and confirmed is a scam. All 4 numbers and business names are Yellow Page "companies", but all have slightly different names and non-existent addresses. But they all use the same logo. They all need to be reported as false and fraudulent.

I received several calls from 1-800-392-3280 for payment. The first time I paid them. Now they are back for more.I am glad I finnally found out about the scam.

same thing is happening to us ....its sad i am going to file a complaint on Fraud.org.His name is Brian and when i try to call back the original number no can do its a wifi google phone something also when i googled the address on the invoice it is for a sign translation company????!!!!  we never agreed to anything no paperwork nothing ..it sounded weird and fishy to me so i googled "Brians"info and i knew..

Yellowmediapages.com is scam u need to call the your state AG FTC and BBB. ask for your money back if u paid them if they refuse tell them will u file a complaint with AG' FTC, BBB until u get your money back

Same here.  We've been hounded by several companies claiming to be the "real yellow pages".  I have gotten to the point where I save every correspondence they send and take notes every time they call.  I have obtained a couple of cancellation letters but that still doesn't stop them.  I had Robert Foster from Yellow Page Resources call after HE sent me a cancellation letter. Also received calls from Yellow Media Pages, Yellow Pages Effective Engine Search, Online Media Services, Rapid Yellow Pages, Yellow Page Publications, & Media Yellow Pages.

I finally just started telling them we wouldn't pay any more.

Yellowmediapages scam is up and running again they will lie to you regarding service they will tell u paid for it in the past they will not speak to owner they will speak to manager or even janitor to get sale. when they get the ok u will be for the amount of 498.00 or something by consumer procection act they cant go over the mark of 500 if they do has to written contract. If u get from yellow media pages and any other company tell them update info or contract expire ask them to fax u over proof of the contract or spk to owner do not fall into there trap if they continue to harass u tell them u file with ag, bbb,  ftc save your self from these scammers majority of these company not located in usa they located in Canada.

Never listen to these people..  Richard cross is the person who called claiming to be con edison..  They will never ask you to pay cash at a kiosk or go to rite aid for payments   dont et this idiot fool you.. Hang up.

they called, a woman's voice, speaking Spanish, left a voice mail, something about "energy will be cut"...said to call this number. the call came from 800-963-6100.

I received a call in Spanish saying that I was going to have my energy shut off for lack of payment.  I knew right away it was a scam. But just out of curiosity I called this number . It was after hours and nobody answered but there was an answering machine with different extensions for various septs. I will call tomorrow just out of curiosity. I am glad I did some research about the number and found out this site. Thank you.
