It's Kay Jewelers...  I was 5 days late with my payment.

Fortunately it is just a missed call on the cellphone.
In the past year, manager of a local outlet of Kay Jewelers
stopped these calls by enrolling me on their "do not call" list.

Now apparently they're calling again.

they called and were looking for a donation for the Girl Scouts.  Very strange, they laughed when I asked what the Girl Scouts were going to use it for.

It's for Kay or Jared Jewelers collection...they're super annoying and will call 5 or 6 times a day.  Kinda makes you not want to pay your bill at all.

These people are relentless!!  Last winter my husband and I were laid off, and quite frankly, this took a backseat to food and heat.   I do have to say that they were very nice and dropped our payment amount to help us out.   BUT, when that six months was up and I made one of the lower payments out of habit, they started calling me EVERY TWO HOURS over a measly TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS!!!!   And they wanted it RIGHT NOW!   Jeez.   We love the staff at our local LeRoy's jewelers, but I don't see us doing much business there once the economy improves.   They're pretty overpriced, and they totally freak out over things like this.

Shaw Jewelers.  I agree with "i'd rather not"...they will NOT stop calling.  I receive calls every 30 minutes to an hour, EVERY DAY. They already hit me with a late fee and all the deferred interest, so I will just wait until the next due date and make a double payment.

I agree with "i'd rather not", they are nice about setting up arrangements, but are relentless when it comes to collections. I've received calls like, every 30 minutes in the past...can't wait to pay them "OFF"

Just got a call from the number claiming that we did not make payment for Feb. It was our 1st payment to them and we never received a statement but knew it was due and went out of our way to make sure we paid it since we knew the due date. Then we get a call saying we had not paid. Will definitely never buy from them again.

I don't even have an account with Kay Jewlers and they called my cell phone! I've never bought anything from there, although I know my parents have (they haven't bought anything in years) and my brother &sister-in-law have (as far as I know, they paid their account balance off last year). Why would they call me when I don't even have an account with them?

It is a collection company for jewelry stores like Jared. They will call the references you list on your credit application and your work too.

This number is from Sterling Jewelers which operate:

and several other regional jewelry stores.
They call from several numbers which "me" has listed above.

I tried calling one of the numbers and got through.  I told them I do not have an account with them but someone calles my place of business every morning and when I answer with my business name they hang up, but never remove the number.  So I called and the person I spoke with said that my work phone number was not in the system.  How are they calling me then?  It is annoying!

I get several calls per day on my cellphone from 800-394-4196, 410-321-0626 and a "restricted number" which does not display. I do not have any debt other than my monthly credit card payment and have not done business with a jeweler for at least 10 years. Why on earth would they call me?

It's also used for weisfield jewelers then. I get like 6 or 7 calls a day an none of it long enough to go to voicemail. Last call I got I didn't even have time to get the phone out of my pocket before they hung up.

very polite guy on the phone said sorry for the calls and that he would remove my number from the rotation.
