Calling about student loans repayments

Same thing a few calls from this company about student loans ?
also they want to verify DOB and some other personal Info must be scam !!!
all this guy keeps saying is Mr ... is very simple just verify the info he must be stupid or something.

A lady named Cora keeps calling and claims she cannot leave a VM due to the nature of the call. However, she asked to leave her name and number with me ( Office Assistant) and I'm wondering why she couldn't leave a VM with just her name and number for the guy she was trying to reach. I called the number back and it was for some financial services company, possibly student loans.

Several calls from Leslie, no statement of business and identifies herself with only first name, claiming she is returning my call......Have never called this number.

"Leslie" keeps calling and asking for my manager, but won't leave a voicemail. A co-worker took her second call today, and "Leslie" gave her a number to ask our manager to return her call. I called the number myself and a "Patrick" and answered informing me that I was on a recorded line. I asked the nature of the business and he said the name was "Progressive". I said "the insurance company?" and he said "No" and asked if I had received a call from them. I got off the phone.

A few minutes later, "Leslie" called back asking for my manager. Third time in one morning! I asked if it was "Leslie" because she hadn't identified herself. She reluctantly admitted it and I told her that she needed to stop calling. We will see how long it lasts.

Called me 7 times in one day, so I let the answering machine get it.

Of course, they have to try to be clever, so the voice message goes, "This is a call for Fxxx Fxxx. If you continue to listen to this message, you are acknowledging that you are Fxxx Fxxx."
