800-400-0572 number is actually the credit card fraud line for Barclay Card. You simply call it to verify that certain recent charges are legit. I called the main number to confirm it's a legit number, and then I called the 800 number to approve two charges by my daughter in another state.

This is BS, probably posted by the telemarketer.  Calling the number back starts a spiel "Are you or someone in your household 50 years or older . . .?"

Received a call from 800-400-0752, but let it go to vm because I didn't recognize it. Left message stating there may be fraudulent activity on my credit card and to call the Barclay Fraud Line to confirm charges. I called the number on the back of my card to confirm the number was the fraud line and it was. There were two fraudulent charges on my card.

People, please!  This number is the fraud line for Barclays.  I also called the regular number on the back of my card to verify this.  There were 2 fraudulent charges made on my card in a city more than 4 hours from my home.

This is NOT a fraudulent number, so pay attention to the call! We did not answer the call because the name on our telephone pad said UNAVAILABLE, so it was a good thing that we checked 800Notes afterward. We called the number on the back of our Barclay Card (a different number) and discovered that there was recent fraudulent activity on our account. One of our credit cards was immediately cancelled and reissued with a new number. Barclay Card is very vigilant for fraud, so when they call you, take the call seriously.

OK but scammers are also notorious for spoofing legit numbers, so what is a legitimate call/number for you, may end up being a spoofed number/scam for someone else.  Calling the number on the back of your card, like you said, is the best thing to do.

This is a valid Barclay fraud line number.  Thanks to Barclay for monitoring charges that differ from the normal as to amount and/or location of purchase.

Barclays number. I was hacked and they informed me. Like others, I called the number on my card, though.

Claimed to be Barclays Aviator Master Card - Alert Number 1: I don't have a Master Card.
"We need to verify your number..." "If your number is (number dialed)...select one if this is correct." I pressed one. "Sorry this number is not on the account, please enter your home phone number" - Alert number 2: If it's not on the account, why and how did you dial it, and then why would you ask for my home phone?

Got call from this #, read comments then called number on back of my card. Learned my card had at least four fraudulent attempts in past few hours. When in doubt, call card customer service for quick response and resolution.

Just got a robocall from 800-400-0752 (ID said ADVANTADRCARD) and the message stated it was a fraud alert about a MasterCard. This is an office and our company does not use that card. I've been called before with fraud alerts and live people normally call you about that. When you Google this number it comes up as a scam and not listed as a valid contact number on the credit card's website. ALWAYS CALL THE NUMBER LISTED ON THE BACK OF YOUR CARD.

caller ID said Advantra DR card. Message was from Barclays asking to call them back for possible fraudulent charges.  Called the number on back of card and it was Barclays. They connected me to fraud dept. There were charges from 3 different states that were not mine. I was told to destroy card and within a few days I received a new one. Still wandering how this happened.

This is a SCAM!  I just called the fraud department from the number on the website and verified that 800-400-0752 is NOT connected to the mastercard.  I did indeed have fraud charges on my card last night and had already talked to someone earlier this morning and canceled my card.  Then I received a call from this number and let it roll to voicemail.  They gave me a claim number for the fraud charges and everything.  Do not call this number back!
