They charged my credit card with $9.15 under the name "LINK SERVICES 8004083689 CA". It's their 800 number and I don't know where the charge came from and who these people are. All I know is they got a hold of my credit card number. Be aware.

Same thing.  Charge first appeared as $9.15 pending on 8/2/08, then on 8/5/08 it appeared as a $9.15 for LINK SERVICES Transaction Date 0/3/08, Posted to my credit card on 8/4/08.  Mailed a protest to my credit card same date asking them to DO NOT PAY.

Same thing: Mine was posted 8/30 but I don't remember a call from them first. We do very little online but do have a couple of subsciptions and wondered if you'd mind comparing notes. I will be calling and warning my bank as they have been compromised previously. These people do not need our money for free. Let me know.

I got a charge ($9.00) on 6/29. On the same day I made a purchase from Whole Health Products. My credit card is now canceled and I have alerted Verizon as I called the number and got a recording. Perhaps there is a common thread, i.e. a purchase you made on the same date.

I also received a charge on my govt credit card in the amount $9.00 under the same name.  I also tried to call the 800# and only got an answering machine and no response.  I have disputed the charge.  Beware!!!

Ditto here too. A charge of $9.10 dated 06/12 to Link Services 800-408-3689 CA appeared on my latest CC bill rec'd today.  I called the issuing bank of my CC and they canceled my card, telling me that my CC# has been compromised. They said that Link Services' charge was listed for "electronics".
I also called the 800 number and got a machine w/a message that gives no further information about who they are.  No one from there has called me back.  Maybe their game is to confirm our names and phone numbers, to go along with the CC#s they've got!  Now I wish I hadn't left a message for them...

I am in the process of disputing a $9.00 "mystery charge" on my bank card made on July 5th 2008 from Link Services 1-800-408-3689 CA. My bank cancelled my debit card so no further charges can be made on it. I also called the number and got nowhere. What a scam!!!

I did not receive a call from this 800 number.  However there was a $ 9.00 charge to my bank account.  I had no idea what the charge was for or to whom the money was sent.  The name on the transaction was Link Services.
In looking at the account number the money was transferred to it appeared to be an 800 number.  I searched on Google and low and behold I find out that there are many others who have also been ripped off for about $ 9.00.
My bank cancelled my card and refunded the money, however, they charged me a $ 5.00 replacement fee for a new card.  The bank representative said the charge was made July 10, 2008 in Newport Beach.  They also said that they will investigate and prosecute if they are able ti find the party responsible.

I noticed a charge for $9.00 on my debit card Monday that I didn't make. It was listed as Link Services 8004083689 CA. I called the number a few times, thinking I might have reached them outside of business hours. Each time I got a message saying, "We cannot take your call at this time. Please leave a message after the tone." I left a message the last time. After reading this page I wish I hadn't. I called my credit union and was told to fill out a form disputing the charge.

Does anyone track these scammers and prosecute them? It's frustrating to deal with because I'm a single mother who needs every dollar. I also prefer my debit card to carrying cash. Replacing my card is a major hassle.

I got scammed as well by this 800 number.  I wonder if anyone has purchased Dr. Franks pet spray before they had the $ 9.00 charge mysteriously appear?  We did.  I can't prove anything, however, that is the only charge we have that was made over the internet. Please respond if you have purchased this product before the mysterious charge appeared.

I had purchased flea stuff from petshed.com. It was the only charge on my bill for a few months prior to the $9.00 charge. Did you order on line from a pet supply company?

I didn't get a call, but I did get this charge on my account.  $9.15.  I have to cancel my card, file a fraud report with the Newport Beach, CA police, and pay $5.00 for a replacement card.  This crap makes me mad.   I found one link that says it's for supporters of Barack Obama.  Not starting off on the right foot with me.

I also had the same charge of $9.10 on my government credit card.  When I contacted the credit card company, they gave me the name Electronics Store and provided the phone number.  I will be reporting this to the Justice Management Division.  Beware of the fraudulent charge!

I got charged $9.00. Had any of you ordered pet supplies from petshed.com prior to the misuse of your card? This was my only transaction on this card for months. Just wondering if there is a connection. Try and call the number and you get a recording that your call can't be answered.

Same thing, $9.00 transaction on 7/9.  I don't know where they got my cc#, but the last transaction before this one was one I made to E-4 hats.com.  They are also in CA.  Or I know I have been having problems with registry changes on my computer, so maybe I have a virus or something.  I'll be disputing the charge and cancelling my cc.  This is the 2nd time this year I have had fraudulent charges!
