I have been etting these messages & until today have ignored them. I contacted Alltel  & here's how to block them: create a text message to 8888. Next, in the body of the text msg type B 8004166129. It adds the # to your blocked list. Hope it works for all wireless services.

I had the same problem. I called the customer service line at (1-800-416-6129)to get it canceled. It should take up to 48 hours to get it cleared from the system. You should also receive a message saying that the service has been canceled.

read the fine print on any user agreement websites you visit; it gives this scam company permission for this nonsense (Mobile Messenger) call them and get removed

I have been getting the same due to something I subscribed to on line

My service provider offered to credit it ( a one time credit) .  They also told me to reply to the text message with

stop all as the message to stop the messages from coming.  Seems to have stop them.

Mobile Messenger is the company sending this stuff. Inside some website user agreement that you have used, is permission for this nonsense. call the 800 # to make it stop

This is a scam company. I was charged $9.99 for the message. I demanded a refund. They took my name and address and said a refund check would be mailed within 10 to 14 days. If I don't receive it within 21days I will file a complaint with the consumer protection division of my state government.
