Same vacation fax scammer for years. Why isn't this guy in jail by now from these illegal activities? I don't understand this?

Received vacation fax Cancun ranks #1 in vacation destinations 3 times and @one has a different phone #.  I called and they gave me the spill on the package.  However, I did not purchase anything. They did give me a website for their company cheapmexico.com which I did visit but something told me it just wasn't right.
Then I came across this on the USA Today website and noticed they are changing the phone #'s.
phone #'s they are using are 1-800-417-2496 and 1-800-417-2496.

I receive faxes at all hours of the morning hours (12 a.m. 5 a.m.).  This has occurred over the last year.  The telephone numbers differ, but the same info. is contained in each fax.

I recieved several faxes from this number.  I decided to call and request to be removed from thier call list.  The lady answered "Reservations, can I help you?".  I told her that I wanted to be removed from thier fax list.  After that, she told me that she was sorry but this was a hospital and that it must be a wrong number that I had called...and I'm thinking to myself, "Who makes a reservations at a hospital?".  I called back and decided to tell them that I was interested in a trip to Cancun; it worked!  They took the bait.  After asking which offer I was interested in, I told them the only thing I was interested in was being removed from thier list!

These guys use USAToday trademarks and likeness to distribute their faxes, which are ads made to look like a USAToday Money article.  How they haven't been sued into oblivion is beyond me.

they won't take me off their fax list after repeated requests so once a day i call them and say, "so i understand you have some great deals for cancun!" and he gives me the spiel and after a minute or so i say, "oh i'm sorry - can i put you on hold for just a minute? i'll be right back" and they say sure! I put them on hold and never go back and leave them hanging. childish i know, but it gives me some satisfaction.

I called, was upset with the man that answered, and he started telling me I was "dumb as a rock" and he would continue to fax my company regardless of what I ask.

Is there any lawyer out there that can do something to these people??

They tried calling every extension we have to fax this information. You would think that if they are going to go through all that trouble of sending to 10 different numbers... they would at least put a working number on the page...

I received the same fax at place of business and it just looked like a hoax.  I called the number and they would not give me the name of their company name.  There has to be some kind of law against this!

CSR'S are RUDE!!! I spoke to "Dave" who had the nerve to tell ME that I was rude because I asked 1) how he knew me in response to the hand writing on the fax and 2) how to be put on the Do Not Call List. Dave put me on hold and told Me I was rude, then took my fax number and without so much as a thank you hung up the phone. I called back to speak with a manger and was put on hold for 15 minutes. I am a patient person- and maybe a little obsessive, but the name I was given was

This article pulled me in...it was very suspicious - especially when I asked for verification.  "Branden Jones" hands the phone over to his supervisor. I feel violated and stupid, mostly because I gave them my cell number, my work number and my email address.  I am sure I will get a pile of juck email - guess I should have not been so quick to give my info out.

This same "USA TODAY" fax was sent to me today, and caught my eye because, as a part-time travel agent, I am just now searching for cheap all-inclusives for a client in Cancun. This ad said to call the 800 # about Cancun 6day All Inclusive for $300 per person. Knowing it sounded too good to be true, I googled the phone number and found this link! (Thank God for Google, heh?)
I was gonna fax back a request to be removed from their list, but noticed there is no originating fax number on the header. Imagine that! It's crap like this that makes it hard for travel agents. Our clients see these things and think they are gonna find a trip for that advertised price, when it doesn't exist! Why are fax #'s not included in the "do not call registry?"
