Scam wanting to collect money for ca edision electric bill. They will shut off service if you dont make a payment with gift credit card.

This is a SCAM, Not Southern Ca Edison. They threaten to turn off your power if you do not pay them $499.99 within 30 minutes.

Called and said they were with Xcel energy in Denver, Colorado. IT'S A SCAM! DO NOT GIVE ANY MONEY TO THESE RAT [***]!

Live in Pagosa Springs, Colorado.  Said they were from LaPlata Electric.  It is a SCAM!!  Don't give money!  I called LaPlata Electric and they said they knew about the scammers.  Really believable when they call.  :(

An extremely rude individual has been calling stating that he is a representative of Pacific, Gas & Electric and he has been threatening to shut off the power to our dental office due to non-payment of our account. When I called (800) 418-3310 x48 to speak with this Curtis, I was told he was the onsite technician that was going to shut off the power in 30 minutes. I was speaking to a guy named Scott who said he was the manager of the collections department. When I asked him to reference the account number, he gave me account #372442712-4. When I told him that account number did not belong to our office, he hung up on me. Such a scam!! Hate how much time I have wasted because of these criminals!!

Total scam!  Called saying he was from APS and wanted payment immediately or they would turn off our power.  Said his name was Scott Hennick.....BEWARE  TOTAL CROOK!!!

Called to give us information that our Dominion Virginia Power bill was delinquent and we needed to pay $499.50 at once in order to keep the lights.  Told us to go to a specific 7-11 store and pay Pay Power.  When we called the number back a very rude man told us that he could not help unless I gave him our information. I gave him the information that Scott Hinick had called. He told me that was a technican and he needed our information. Nothing else was discussed.

Definitely a scam.  Called our office to say we were delinquent and that our power would be shut off.  Scott was the original caller but then transferred me to David Gomez, general manager,  who sounded like the same guy I spoke to previously. My gut told me it was a scam especially since we were up to date with our payments but he said their system was being updated so they could not see those payments being posted.  In order to stop the tech from coming out and shutting off our service we would needed to send a minimum of 498.50 within 30 minutes on a prepaid card.  I hung up and called our local electricity provider  to report  and they advised us that  we were not delinquent and that they would never call you and ask for a payment over the phone.  You have to initiate the call.  Never give out personal information to someone who calls and asks for it no matter where they say they are calling from!

These idiots just called us and I am up to date on all of the payments.  They told me they are at a call center and couldn't look up my acct number, that "I called him, what was it regarding, a field tech must be on the way to shut off the power..."  When I asked if he served Mass he hung up on me.

Creepy.

Got a call at my job this morning saying they were PSEG & they needed to speak to the owner ASAP or power would be shut off within 40 mins. When I told them the owner was not in they just kept repeating the number until they hung up.  After calling PSEG & verifying this wasn't them, the same person called about an hour later. The second I said "I got in touch w/PSEG & I know this is a scam" they abruptly said  "excuse me!?" & hung up. Haven't heard from these low lifes since.

I got a call directing me to this number threatening to turn of power for failure to pay my gas & electric bill. They claimed to be "San Diego Gas & Electric."

I got an automated call from "SDG&E" notifying me of a upcoming power shut off due to a past due bill and giving me this number to call back. The prompts on the 800-418-3310 sounds somewhat legit but when speaking with Randall, I realized it was a scam only after he gave me a case number so I hung up. Of course, he called back trying to get me to pay $1400 to get it resolved. I promptly hung up. He won't be calling back.

Few minutes ago I received a call telling to call 18004183310 and the guy that I spoke to from SDGE said that the technician is on his way to disconnect my power within 30 mins due to not pay and I asked how much do I owe he said $4,000 and I told him why they let my power on for so long in order for me to pay that much, I told him I don’t have any money and he said pay that amount now and I’ll get reimbursed on next Wednesday when the technician restore my power meter! He hung up on me then I googled this number found out it’s a scam! To you all people that receive the same phone call please ignore because it’s a SCAM
