I too get 5-10 phone calls from this number, They have auto dialers and if they detect that someone answers it routes the call to a live person, the auto dialer will continue to dial your number until they connect with a real person. Chase, B of A, Cap 1, citi and even mortgage companies all use auto dialers. I had one 10$ late payment on a Kohls card, they reported me to the Fico and ALL of my cards jacked my interest rate to 29-32% and I had NEVER been late to any of them, Kohls treated me like a criminal even though I explained I was away due to my fathers death.
Pay our bills off and pay over pay 1$, and do not use the card again if you want to get at them, they will send you a statement for over a year with a credit. canceling the card only hurts your credit.
If you want to avoid them all together go onto each cards site and remove your cell and work numbers, leave only your home ph and do like I do , unplugg the phone at 8am and plug it back after 9 pm any one who needs me has my cell. Federal laws says they can not call before 8 am and after 9pm, or you can report them. Most CCard companies are so reliant on the web sites YOU can control by removing your phone numbers they have no paper trail to get your other numbers and are forbidden by federal law to call your work if you tell them no personal calls at work. If they have a recent paper app with your phone numbers on it they can sometimes get that, but do it before you get in past due state, some will print files on you if you become cronic late and changing the web site will slow them down but not stop it. Credit card companies are like the new drug dealers, but we can fight them, but they can make your life difficult, learn to not buy anything unless you need it...all about wants vs needs.
