It's Allied Interstate - a collection agency.

while sitting here reporting other number that are calling and hanging up on me this one comes in and wants me to call them.  They said Allied Interstate Collection Agency and call them tomorrow. HUH!!!

as soon as you pick up you hear an automated message "hey, please hold for this important call". First few times I thought it was very audacious of a company to expect people to hold when they call you like that, then after a week of repeated calls I became furious, so I actually waited and heard this annoying voice saying "HEY, PLEASE HOLD" over and over again so I can scream at the person that eventually picks up, but after 5 minutes of holding I got fed up. So I called them myself and demanded they put me on their do-not-call list, and through this entire process I never even found out what the hell this company is in the first place. Then I said "hey, please hold" and slammed the phone

I got a message from that number at work at 8:50 at night.(we were closed)  When you call back it is all automated.  The message tells me absolutely nothing.  Too bad for them.

The sheer testicular fortitude of a company that expects me to hold while they dilly-dally...I'm getting two calls a day on weekdays from these clowns.  

From the name, I suspect that these are the people sent to collect overdue parking tickets, or are simply using the name not give that impression.  Google "Allied Interstate" and you'll find pages and pages of consumer complaints against them, including people saying they paid, and did not receive credit for doing so.  

This leads me to conclude that all are advised to STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

They have left me a vague but pleasant message for two days in a row now of a very innocent almost sexual sounding young lady. "Hey this is jaime please call me back at (some random number 800 I keep accidently deleting) thank you! bye." If you call back the number from which they called it just tells you to hold and eventually hangs up on you. waste of time.

Automated message saying it was Allied Interstate trying to collect a debt.    They left a different number to call and the message also contained their business hours.

I just recently got this phone number and have been harassed from one collection agency after another.  And each time they are looking for a different person.  Seems fishy to me.  I wish they'd leave me alone.  This should be illegal.  They need to verify who they are calling, otherwise they are just trying to scam money out of you!

this number calls 6 times a day, 7 days a week and never leaves a message on the answering machine. very annoying.

I waited long enough to actually talk to a person twice, and when they tell me I will be recorded I tell them I don't want to be recorded and they hang up on me. But they don't stop calling! !

They just started calling my daughter's cell phone. She hasn't answered, yet, because she didn't recognize the number.  My other daughter also has been getting calls from collection agencies, although I'm not sure if it's Allied or not.

They just had a live person call me and try to collect. They are the inhouse collectors for ge money bank. The guy wanted me to set up a payment plan over the phone and wanted me to give my bank info right away to him. I told him i dont trust doing this over the phone can i have something in writing and he refused, he could of faxed or mailed me something but no. Then he wanted to get the manager. He put me on hold for 5 sec and the same voice came on the line pretending to be the manager. Heck no i dont trust you i want something in writing so i can show my lawyer!

Just recently got a phone from Tracfone. This number calls me several times a day. I don't know who they're calling for, I can only assume it is for the person who previously had this number, but I've asked them to stop calling, and they hang up, only to call again later.

Then, while I was at work one day, they called, and my phone picked up. They kept the line open for 30 minutes before I checked the phone to realize that it was on a call.

I've got no address, no way to contact them, nothing. I just want them to stop harassing me, I don't even remotely know the person they're calling for. Tracfone isn't helping, and I can't afford to run out and buy another cell phone, or hire a lawyer.

Go to "Options" on your cell phone, and add this number to your "Reject List". Than have some peace of mind from this harasser!

Finally a person that has some sense. Thank you for telling the ignorant masses how to use their phones......lol

First I do not answer any calls from anyone that will not identify themselves.
This number has call seven times today, no message, just silence in my voice mail. Guess I won't be calling back!

This number calls 5-6 times a day on a product sales number at my work.  When I answer, it is automated and I have never spoken to a live person.  Constantly calling and pretty much harassing our staff.  Cannot figure out how to get off this call list or deal with this number.

This number has called 6 times already today and it is only 1 in the afternoon. They call between 10 and 12 times a day everyday. I am so sick of it. No message and no one is there when I do answer. I blocked the number on my cell phone, but they blow up my home phone. Get a life people.
