- Jamie| 1 replyA guy by the name of Eugine Goldman in the "laon workout department" and that I need to call him back. He says he has my case in front of him but he fails to mention what company he is with. When I returned the call, once aain a detailed message requested my full name, daytime number where I can be reached and my full property address... No name of the company. Very suspicious. I did not leave my name or property address, only my number. I will update this post after finding out if this person is really with my home lender or just another jerk trying to rip us off.
- Caller: unknown
- jag replies to JamieI got this call too. I guess if your property is in default he makes this call. Is your loan with M***W**T? If not then he is a third party
- PaulGot this call also, exactly as described by Jamie. Our property is not in default. Not returning this phone call.
- MarkGot the same call this morning. Same script, same result when I attempted to call back.
Think we will need to notify either news media or the FTC about this. I don't like the idea that they want your address - they should already have this information if they are calling you. - AnnThe caller and message were the same as Jamies above. For a name like Eugene Goldman, he sounds pretty waspy. We will not be calling him. Clearly it's just a guy/company fishing for business. Lame.
- Caller: "Wouldn't say"
- T.N. San JoseExactly as described, "Eugine Goldman in the "loan workout department" ... my case in front of him... There might be a solution..."
Mine is in default - pre foreclosure.. Tired to deal with bank so didn't call him back... anyone known of this please share...
Thanks.. - Henry| 1 replyGot a call recently exactly as described by Jamie. Later got a call from "First Family Justice Center". I could find only Family Justice Center on the web but not the FFJC. Interestingly the number that Eugine left is the same number belonging to the FFJC (from which I got another call). Not yet sure who and what this org does. When I called back they told me that they take care of options when all loan modification options are run-out with the bank......did any one go any further than this? Also the FFJC said they were a non-profit org. Although they did not have any of my information (other than the phone number registered for a foreclosure) they did not insist on getting it from me once I said I will call back...sounds legitimate...normal to get numbers on foreclosure....yet can they be trusted in giving all my information is something I am not sure?
- Caller: FFJC
- Megon73 replies to HenryI got the same call as Jamie described and my property is also in foreclosure. I'll update this blog as soon as I can learn something new about this caller. Thank you everyone! :)
- KJI just got this call at my work number (I'm an assistant at a Real Estate office) but from another number, 701-625-5007. I just googled Eugene Goldman and came across this thread. Our property IS NOT in default. This is a person preying on the unfortunate real estate market, making random calls counting on the individuals who are in default to contact him. DO NOT relay your information to him. THIS IS A SCAM.
- Caller: Loan Mod Dept.
- StricklandteamThis guy called my client that i have a short sale with. My client just swtiched his number a couple days ago to stop the solicitation calls and this guy called with the same message above that everyone is talking about. I gave eugene a call this morning saying who i was and with and i politely asked what services he has to provide for my client and the guy flipped a swtich and went psycho on me yelling and wouldnt provide any information at all. If he was a true professional he would have been curtious and told me his company and services so that possibly i could refer him more business... Definitely a scam

Just got a message from "Eugene Goldman, loan workout department" He states he "may have a solution to my problem". I do have loans. None are in default.
I called him back at 1-800-441-1308 (his 'personal' number),
and got an answering machine from the "First Family Justice Center", asking me to leave a bunch of personal information.
I suspect a scam.- Caller: Eugene Goldman
- Darin CAI suspect a scam too.
I have got this call over a dozen times at my WORK phone, same recorded message, "Hi this is Eugene Goldman from the loan workout department I have your case file in front of me... but I NEED you to call me back now", blah blah blah.
Thing is -- I DON'T OWN ANY PROPERTY!!
Heh - KAT SactoSame thing here. We are not in default and all same information quoted above - Eugene Goldman Same No. Has file on his desk then when you call the number it says a woman's voice and First Family Justice Center and leave your lender's name (yeah, right!). We're not having any problems with our property either, so he is just preying. Watchout folks.
- Caller: Eugene Goldman
- DavidWHeww! am I glad I googled this phone number and found this thread! Ditto on all of the above. And here I thought it actually was the load modification department calling me!! Sad thing is, there is actually a Family Justice Center that is legitimate! What a Scam-bag!! I did not pursue this further as it obviously smells fishy.

- JoAnnGot a call last night from Eugene Goldman, left a message to call, same as those already reported. I own my property and don't owe on it. He said it was important. I get a lot of wrong number calls, so called back. They said it was First Family Justice Center and they were all busy on other calls. Leave the info they asked for and they would call back within 1 hour. I asked to speak to Eugene Goldman and left only my number.. Haven't gotten a call back. Sounds like a scam to me. The real First Family Justice Centers in NY & San Diego help people with domestic violence issues. There is a crooked person around every corner anymore. How Sad!!!!!
- Caller: Eugene Goldman
- SheeraI too got a call from this so-called Eugene Goldman. Same words verbatim! Careful!!! Figured last night, when I got the message, that it was a load of malarky! Something fishy about the way he can't tell me what my name is, where my loan originated, what company he is with, etc. What a sad existence!
- Caller: Eugene Goldman First Family Justice Center
- kcI want to thank you for the information. I got the same call today. It sounded good too. We looked up the phone number and could not get anything and by name there were lots of Eugene Goldman's. I really think that its awful how people try to play others. We need to do this together to stop these kinds of people from getting away with these kinds of scams. We did not find anything until we typed the number into bing. Thank you all for your help and information.
- IsabelleBoy - I got the same call today. Sounds like it could be a recorder as no one here has mentioned receiveing a live call from Eugene Goldman. We have several properties which we have submitted for loan workout. I got all excited and left my name and phone number. If they do call back, I will now know that this is bogus. Thanks so much for reporting this online.
- Caller: Eugene Goldman First Family Justice Center
- jackieI got the same message as Jamie, however the # and name that came up on our caller id was 1-360-722-5910. He said to call him back at 1-800-441-1308 (his 'personal' number). At first I thought our # was dialed accidently and thought about returning the call to let him know until I realized he didn't leave who he the message was intended for or what property he was referring to. So I figured it was just a scam, so I will not be calling him back.
- Caller: Eugene Goldman
- Bob SullivanI got the exact same call. We are in the process of doing a short sale -- this guy, Eugene Goldman 1-800-441-1308 sounded like he was calling from MY lender, but he isn't. Same exact script -- that he claimed he had my case in front of him - and that he has a solution that should resolve our problem -- but he conspicuously fails to mention what company he is with; then said it was very urgent that i call him back at his "direct line" of 800-441-1308.
Thanks to this 800notes.com site, i was able to confirm my suspicions; that he's just a third-party hack.
Thank you!!!- Caller: PB MIK CO.
